I wonder if it will exclude sale items?

I’m wondering the same thing, it usually does. If not that will make for some great deals!

Yes, it always excludes sale items, even on 30% off weekends, unfortunately.

I saw Pillow Pets at my local CVS. I have never seen them for less than $19.99. I thought I would try to use the 30% coupon plus some extra care bucks to make for a really great deal on a Pillow Pet.

the code is out already, but i can’t find any link to print it out on paper.

If it doesn’t work on sale items, why zhuzhu pets could be cheaper according to the email I got from this site?

I said it’s possible that you could get them cheaper, but we won’t know for sure until the coupon is available.

@Rose…Yes.I been waiting on this all week and it is online only. The ad said in store and online but the bottom fine print read online only. Why CVS?

Like previous people said, looks like this won’t work. VERY disappointing. I am emailing CVS about it now. It clearly states in store on the ad.

Ashlee, do you have an e-mail address for them. I went to their “contact us” link and can only find phone numbers, and of course they are not available today, only M-F. I want to e-mail them while I’m still mad!!

I just got off the phone with CVS customer service and they said it is automatic with your CVS card in store. She said she “believed” it was regular priced items only with some exclusions.

@Ashlee how did you talk to Customer Service and what number did you use? I called the 1 800 number and it is closed today. Please help.

Shame on CVS! They messed up this promo. Now on the offer page they removed mention of the “in sore” coupon. And you folks say the 30% can be used in store by using your CVS card? But CVS customer service cant even say if it regular priced stuff or not? WOW. This is not being run right. Someone has to confirm that by using your card this will work….

I just came from my CVS and they said I had to physically bring in the coupon for the 30% off today but would not tell my how I could get one. I kept asking if it really was in store as well as online, but all he kept repeating was “you have to physically bring in the coupon”. That was his answer to every question I had. Very disappointing.

This is such a disappointing marketing ploy from CVS. Yesterday, the marketing included “in store” but today it does not include “in store”. Shame on CVS!

I just got through to someone for CVS.com and she basically said there’s nothing she could do about it because it was an in-store problem and that customer care was closed on weekends!

Going to head there now…wonder if it’s maybe a coupon that prints at their coupon/price scanner station? Just a thought…will report back. :)

Just got back from there. I was told I needed to bring in a bar code coupon. I used my ExtraCare card at checkout and it did NOT automatically deduct the 30%. I am VERY disappointed in this as well, since I had a whole list of things to get!!

The CVS 30 % off is only online or for employees, friends and family. I just talked with a CVS corporate employee and this is what she told me. They received their coupons in the mail.

That’s the same thing I was told. If you know someone who works at CVS and they gave you a coupon you could use it in store. There are also some stores that have the coupons on store for customers to use but some stores don’t but obviously you can use the code online.

Noticed online that you get 30% off the REGULAR price. If its a sale item and that price is less than 30% off then it gives you 30% off regular price.

I’ve used my CVS card to make purchases both yesterday and today, no 30% off coupon, but I did get a $5/$15 printout at the “magic red box” :-D

the offer was a friends and family promotion for employees and their family and friends. Employees of CVS were mailed coupons to give to people in their familes and to their friends. And no it was not good on Alchol Tobaco scripts or sale merchandise. LOL
