Because Kroger coupon policies vary across different regions, you should verify your local store’s policy on doubling coupons. All matchups include double coupons up to $0.50, and we’ve noted where the final price will be lower for stores that double up to $0.99.

My Krogers will not let me use ecoupons and a manufactor coupons on same item anymore. This is what shows on Kroger more info on coupon. Limit of one coupon per item. Digital coupons and paper coupons may not be combined on the purchase of a single item.

      Mariann,
You are right about the ecoupons. I did list them above for reference but I was not intending that you should stack them.

I found Gold Star coupons at
https://www.goldstarchili.com/files/files/GroceryCoupons.pdf You can print as many as you want…to make them only $.69 after doubling and mega sale (not sure which varieties are included at Kroger, I haven’t been there yet)

Today I went to Kroger & bought 10 of the Mega event items, 2 of those were the Kraft cups for $0.49 each. I had the $1/2 e-coupon on my card but it didn’t come off. The Customer Service lady said its because the total of the 2 is $0.98, so lower than the e-coupon so thats why it didn’t come off, so she gave me 2 extra cups..More about it @ https://www.thethriftymilitarywife.com/2010/10/my-kroger-shopping-trip-107.html

Hello! That should not cause the ecoupon to not come off the order. The cups are actually $.99 each. They come out to $0.49 each after the $5 is deducted at the end of the order. However, the $5 discount (or $0.50 per item) is not actually calculated for each item on your receipt. It is just $5 off the order not tied to a specific item. I hope that makes sense!

so how does your kroger know if you used a paper coupon and an ecoupon? at my kroger i use the uscan, so i scan my items, then scan my paper coupons, then the uscan looks for and applies any ecoupons loaded to my kroger card. the employee monitoring the uscans doesn’t (and couldn’t possibly) watch that closely to catch if you are stacking coupons this way. furthermore, it is often completely unintentional on my part, as i’m not likely to remember every single one of the 150 ecoupons loaded to my kroger card. or what about this scenario? let’s say i know there’s an ecoupon for bread, but i also have a paper coupon that makes for a better deal. i scan my bread, then my coupon, then the uscan applies the ecoupon. on the off chance that the store employee notices that i stacked coupons, are they able to un-apply the ecoupon? seems that if kroger (or any store) doesn’t want you to stack paper and ecoupons, then they need to update their software program to eliminate the possiblity, but it would also need to offer you the option to choose which coupon to use when it detects stacking. seems terribly cumbersome.

      Hello!
I agree that this is a problem with ecoupons. Some Kroger stores have already updated their software and others have not. At certain stores when a paper coupon is used after an ecoupon is applied the ecoupon gets taken off.

    Renae,
Does the Kroger coupon doubling work at Fred Meyer? (I’m in Idaho)

      Hi Alli,
You will have to contact your Fred Meyer. You can just ask at the customer service desk when you go into your store. The double coupon policy varies by region within all Kroger chain stores.
