Target: New Apparel Coupons = FREE Socks

October 3, 2010 by Beth @ In Good Cents 14 Comments

Target has released new apparel coupons again!  Be sure to check your in-store clearance section to make the most of these coupons and get some great purchases. My husband called from Target earlier today to tell me he found a package of socks for only $1.79 on clearance, which makes them FREE after coupon!

  • $2/1 Merona Women’s Socks or Hosiery Item
  • $3/1 Men’s or Women’s Sweater Item
  • $3/1 Adult Denim Apparel Item
  • $3/1 Kids Denim Apparel Item

Print these right away because they usually disappear quickly!

Don’t forget to check out this week’s Target Deals and the Ongoing Target Deals for more opportunities to save.

Wow, I’ve never heard that one. No, that is not “fraud” at all. Next time, explain to them that they can just price adjust the coupon to 0.80.

Yuck. That’s horrible to accuse customers of fraud. But, it’s not. The would have been reimbursed by the manufacturer for the value of the coupon, so they wouldn’t have lost any money at all. Unless the coupon stated something saying you couldn’t use it on that particular product or specified a particular size/flavor/etc that wasn’t the one you selected, then it wasn’t fraud. Call Walmart headquarters. They are usually great about fixing these issues, since they understand coupons a bit better than it seems some associates do.

The Target store in our area has the individual Merona pair of socks temporary price cut at $2 each. I got two pairs for free after the TQ’s today. The cashier told me that starting maybe a week or so, their system will be upgraded to not accepting more than one TQ for the same item in one transaction. Is it true?
