I’ve had them price match before for school supplies, but it’s a royal pain. The cashiers don’t know how to do it, they have to call someone over for each item – and half the time they do it wrong and you end up standing in their customer service line.

I used to work at Walmart (thankfully not anymore!) and the item has to be exactly the same. Same brand, same count, etc.
