You don’t make $1.51 on this. If they are $5 each and BOGO 1/2 offm then that is one for $5 and one for $2.50. Then when you take the $5/2 off, you are paying $2.50. Then subtract the $2/1 and you are paying $0.50 for the two eyeshadows.

I used to get confused by the way these posts were written also. Although I’m not 100% sure, I think at Walgreens, the $2/1 coupon will take $2 off each of the Almay items. That does give you a credit of $1.50. I’ve done a few of these there recently, and I’m always surprised by how great they turn out.
