Changes to Kroger Coupon Policy

February 4, 2013 by Deal Seeking Mom 5 Comments

Kroger is making changes to their coupon policy in the Cincinnati/Dayton and Northern Kentucky regions. Effective 3/1 they will no longer be doubling coupons – all paper coupons will be redeemed at face value. The good news is, to compensate for this change they are lowering prices! You can expect to see lower prices in the grocery, produce, organics, natural foods and general merchandise departments. They will also continue their Mega Sales and the fuel program too.

More good news: this change does not affect the Great Lakes/Central Ohio region.

Thanks, Cincinnati Coupons!

We’ve already been sold that bill of goods down here in Fort Worth. Sadly, the prices DO NOT go down. The only decent prices are during the mega sales. Albertson’s is the only one still doubling/tripling and needless to say, they’re getting the majority of my business. Now if Albertsons would just join ibotta…….

I agree the prices didn’t go down. Make sure to xompare your paper coupons with the digital becaues they will only honor the digital they don’t takboth.Wher I live they won’t take a coupon that makes an item free or is for more than the item. I had coupons that Kroger sent me and they wouldn’t honor them at first because it made the item free. I explained thatbzzagent sent them to me so that I could try the item abd bzz about it. They finally honored it. Good luck to ya’ll I miss double and trippke coupons. Sadly its just to expesive to go there anymore.

Yeah, I am not buying what they are selling. I am sad about no more doubling. Thanks extreme couponers. Meijer will get my business now. They still double

I agree, when I started couponing, it wasnt as popular as now. I could save so much on grocery bill but now with all the strict policies, its a lot harder! Thanks coupon extremists for nothing

Hey there — nice to meet you!

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
