The only requirement is that you link directly to your scenarios. Links directly to your homepage will be deleted. Linking back to this meme to share it with others is greatly appreciated!

Still learning ….. Qq: On the Revlon deal you provide a code – can I just provide it to the associate and they accept it? Also, I’m confused where I can find that coupon! Thanks for all the great info!
Anne
Thank you for the links every week! :)
Lynda
Thanks for the post but I believe the Pilot G2 pens are on sale for 1.99 and the coupon does not apply to them sadly.
Stacy
I did the Revlon deal this morning without the coupon. I check out with the Beauty Adviser and she just entered the code.
Kathy
The pilot pen link never works for me, I’ve tried it before too. Anyone else have luck w/ it?

I tried to buy 2 packs of the Expo markers & the cashier said there was a one pack limit (which was printed in the ad). She told me I “needed to save some for the other customers.” I told her politely that I’m a teacher and would be able to use two packages very quickly & assured her there were still lots on the shelf (and for a change there really were), but she stuck to the 1 pack limit. I gave her back her Walgreens coupon and politely told her she could keep the coupon for the other customers because I wouldn’t be purchasing anything today. I don’t know why I torture myself by occasionally setting foot back in a Walgreens, because they are all a hot mess when it comes to stocking their shelves and implementing random policies.

Hmm, I don’t see where it says there’s a limit of one per person in the ad. Perhaps it’s regional?
Holly
Walgreens will not allow two coupons for the Expo dry erase markers. The scenario you have listed will not work because the 3$ coupon applies to both packs of markers and the 2$/2 will not apply. I still bought them and only had to pay around 2.44

The $3 coupon is an Instant Value coupon and should automatically apply to all of the items in your order. It sounds like the cashier rang your order incorrectly — I’m sorry.
Marty
Thanks Stacy! But I’m afraid that
the Beauty Advisors at my Wags are not given much info. One of the young associates (very personable and pleasant btw) seems to be as frustrated with Wags lack of training/info (not that she’s made disparraging remarks) as u seem to be. Unfortunately, some of the managers are just as clueless (one of them even made me wait while he called corporate to assure that he could accept a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon for the same item and argued that a purchase is the same as a transaction – so I couldn’t buy 2 same items and use 2 separate couons – ever! And as he put it – I’m glad to
have a job, so I’m not about to jeoperdize it for the incorrect use of a coupon. I hate coupons!) sorry for the venting! Think the deals are great, associates are nice, but clueless on policies – so I’ll keep trying – the staff and I are learning together! :-) let’s see if the Beauty Advisor will enter the code! Keeping my fingers crossed!
Marty
Meant to say ….as frustrated as I not u!
Stacy
I am so sorry that there seems to be such negativity on the part of Walgreens. I have to say that I absolutely love my Walgreens. They are the best when it comes to coupons, so I have yet to experience any of the frustration that many of you have. One thing you should all do is download a copy of their coupon policy and carry it with you when you shop so that you can refer to it if you are ever questioned by an employee. Unfortunately, there are many employees who do not know or understand the policy. In such cases, I personally might contact the district manager and let him know (nicely) that the staff in that store has not been properly trained on their corporate coupon policy, and I might provide some examples.
For the record, my ad does not state a limit on the Expo Markers. I tried to do the deal this morning but they were already all gone at 9:00 am on Sunday. However, the IVC should work on both items and you can stack it with the manufacturer’s coupon. However, it is my understanding that individual managers can (and often do) place their own store limits on certain products, so that may be what you experienced.
Cathy
They let me use both coupons on the two expo dry erase markers I bought at two different Walgreens (for 4, lots of teachers in the family), and that’s about all the good I have to say for them. No Keri, for the first 15 days of the sale. No Pert, no reach floss or the oral-b toothbrushes that go with the ad. But when they tell me they can’t take two coupons for the same item, I just say Yes, you can, try again. One clerk told me that if I used a Wq And an Manufacturers Q my RR wouldn’t print. I told her that was just ridiculous because one thing had nothing to do with the other, and just do like I asked her. Of course the RR printed. The beauty clerk is much more knowledgeable and able to make the coupons work out at mine too.
Stacy
My manager at Walgreens told me that it doesn’t matter what she orders, the warehouse sends them whatever they want. Why? Because their sophisticated supply chain system allocates product based on past movement. So for example, if your store doesn’t normally move a lot of Keri Lotion, they won’t get a lot of it for the sale. This is why they often don’t have enough stock on certain items for a sale. Plus, at least by me, people come in and clear the shelves very early. I was in the store at 9:00 am this morning and some stuff was already completely gone.
My store had Keri, but it was gone very quickly. We had a lot of floss and toothbrushes, but no Expo Markers, and I didn’t check on the Pert.
Definitely go to your beauty adviser if you can. They are paid commission on certain items they sell so they have more to lose than a regular cashier. They are more willing to build relationships with customers and are usually more knowledgeable than regular cashiers.
Joy
My Wags is usually pretty good. Sometimes things are sold out. Sometimes they’re not. I know to shop early in the week if I really want something. Quite often the cashiers have wrong informtion regarding coupons which can be frustrating when you don’t know better. I try to go to my old and wise cashiers, the new ones just cause all kinds of problems!!
Alison
I’m confused about the Expo markers. New to Wags couponing, but not a new couponer. The manager told me they couldn’t take both the Walgreens coupon AND the manufacturer coupon because the Walgreens coupon said in the fine print that it was a manufacturers coupons. So now it doesn’t seem like I could ever combine coupons there?
Lisa
For the past month or two I have barely gotten any good deals at my local WAGS. I have shopped there for a long time, back when they did the mail in rebates instead of the RRs. I used to go at 11 am, so I have started to go at 8am. STill the shelves are cleared. They say ever since the dumb reality show ppl are lined up at midnight and clear the shelves so even if you came at 8 in morning on the day of the sale, everything is gone. I can only imagine how frustrating it can be to not even have stuff past noon on the first day of the sale.
Chasidy
I wanted to clarify the Huggies Pull-up Diaper deal you get a $2.00 for every 1 purchased. I did this 4 times use the $3.00 off from 8/14 SS so after your coupon and RR it’s like paying $4.49 a pack :)
