Last year playsaver had printable coupons for alot of these games, making the deals oh so sweet! I hope they do it again this year…seemingly Ironman is all the want to release right now! :/

When is this deal valid?
Dianne S
Most of the games listed here aren’t Hasbro, they are MB – so you woun’d get the $10 Hasbro gift card, right? Only the $9 game would apply toward the giftcard deal.
Rachel B.
I think Dianne is right. :(

Hasbro owns Milton-Bradley, so they still apply. And I found a printable version of the Hasbro mail-in rebate that I just linked in the post!
Kelly Conner
They are all Hasbro and they work. I just got back from Toys R Us and did a similar deal. Got the $10 gc and getting $15 in rebates but only got 5 games cause a few were more expensive.
Becky
MB is a subsidiary of Hasbro. They acquired MB in 1984. All the MB games are shown on the rebate form and will apply towards the $10 GC :)
Beth @ In Good Cents
Hey Tara, I was at Toys ‘r Us earlier this morning and Don’t Spill the Beans and Cootie are also on sale for $5, but not listed in the ad. You can buy all 8 of the games that give you a $2 rebate and spend $36. Then after the gift card and rebates, your final price is $10. I got all of them to donate before they were gone. Last year the game section was cleared quickly.
Jennifer
Can you do this on-line or is it in-store only?
erika
You can purchase online and submit for the rebate, but the $10 gift card is in store only.
Kelly
Do you need a coupon to get the gift card, or will they automatically give it to you?
Anna
Ask for a Rebate receipt.. they printed me 2 :)
melody
Can you order on line and have the order shipped to the store for pick up? If so you you then be able to get the $10 gift card?
Becca
@Melody — if you go to their website, all of the games are listed as “not available for store pick-up.” So I’m assuming that no, you can’t order on line and pick up in the store.

I’m excited about this because I recently got a coupon for $5 off any Hasbro games purchase of $19.99 or more. If Cooties or Don’t Spill the Beans are on sale too I can add one of those, still get my GC and have an extra game to donate for almost nothing. Yay!
karrie
Just got 5 games at Toys R Us for $36 and walked out with a $10 gift card and a rebate form to send in for an additional $12 off. Not bad!
karrie
Plus Toys R Us is also giving away chocolate versions of Monopoly and Scrabble with select games!
Jana
I went out and did this deal tonight. As Karrie said, you can get a Monopoly or (mini) Scrabble game for free too if you buy one of a certain game (Trouble, Connect 4, Life, Monopoly…). My TRU was out though, but the CS lady said I could bring in my receipt before the 24th and get one if they are re-stocked. I’m pretty sure the signs in the aisle said no rainchecks though! Great deals, and perfect for friends of ours adopting 5 sisters from Colombia. This will help them get started on their game stash PRONTO!
Michelle K
Jana can u explain how u get the “Monopoly or (mini) Scrabble game for free too”? I am not quite understanding. TIA
Megan
I went to my Toys R Us today and they were all sold out of their games. I don’t go to Toys R Us very often, so does anyone know if they are pretty good at getting in new shipments throughout the week?
Julie @Kingdom Klipper
I too was able to get 7 games, got the $10 GC,and will send for the rebate. In order to get a FREE chocolate game, one of your games must be a Scrabble or Monopoly. They are a little more. My store was out of the chocolate, but they said to bring my receipt in the next time and they would give it to me. My problem is that I bought a Cootie and a Don’t Spill the Beans. They are both listed on the rebate, but the Don’t Spill the Beans came is listed as a Cootie game on my receipt. Not sure if MB will honor it since it doesn’t say “Don’t Spill the Beans. Did anyone else have this problem??
Nicole
I bought Ants in the Pants, Don’t Break the Ice, Don’t Spill the Beans, and Cootie. On my receipt all of these games just rang up as “Cootie Classic Game” but they all have different upc #s listed under that title so Hasbro should still honor the rebates for them.
Sara
I just did this deal this morning, and the Toys R Us here (Lafayette, Indiana) at first did not issue the gift card to me. The cashier said that some of them were Milton-Bradley games. Since all of the games I bought were listed on the Hasbro rebate form, they eventually issued the gift card to me. They were not very happy about it, though.
I am glad to read the comments saying that Hasbro owns MB. Thanks!
Cole
Would it be possible for my grandma to use the $10 giftcard I got to buy Candyland, Chutes and Ladders, and a $5 game and still apply for the rebate? I was going to donate the games I bought and she wants to give the games she’ll buy to my little cousins, we’re not big toys r us shoppers, and don’t really have a use for the giftcard, and the kids are still too little to pick something out for themselves.
Tara Kuczykowski
If the GC doesn’t say what offer it’s from, I don’t see why not. If it doesn’t work, she can always have them void the transaction.
Sarah
I did this today with almost the exact games listed in the scenario above — it turned out to be a big hassle! The TRU register wasn’t recognizing most of my games as Hasbro, so I explained to the cashier/manager that Hasbro owns MB, They couldn’t issue the GC but were really nice and got my total adjusted down by $10. AND I was able to use my Hasbro $5/$19.99 coupon. I’m not sure if the price adjustment will affect my rebates… guess we’ll see! But I wanted to give that heads up.
Sally
Thanks for the shopping list of
specials – I’m donating mine!
The last one listed $9 for Clue,
Monopoly, Scrabble or Trouble also
has a $3 mail-in rebate – so the
rebate totals $15!
So the final cost is really only $10
for the 7 games! Thanks again!!
traci
I did this today and had to ask for the $10 rebate, but they just gave me one of my games (Hungry Hippo) for free because they couldn’t figure out how to make things work. :p So, yay, I got an extra two dollars off.
Nicole
I’ve read on other blogs that Hasbro has pulled the deal due to overwhelming response.
BB
I think it’s horrible that TRU pulled out like this. False advertising, in my opinion.
