Toluna Accepting Applications (Paid Surveys)

by Tara Kuczykowski on September 28, 2011 · 2 comments

I'm not that familiar with Toluna Survey Panel personally, but they came up quite frequently when I asked DSM readers about their favorite survey sites. From what I gather, you earn points worth $1 to $5 each time you qualify for and complete a survey. Plus you’ll also earn for the polls and opinion topics you create, and each time you participate in or complete a survey you’ll be entered into a monthly $4500 prize draw!

If this sounds like something you'd like to try, fill out the Toluna application now to get started. If you have experience with Toluna, I'd love to hear your feedback in the comments!

Synovate Research Panel Open Again Now!

by Tara Kuczykowski on September 22, 2011 · 0 comments

This went quickly when I posted it the other night, so I wanted to let you know that Synovate Global Opinion Research is taking applications again right now! Along with Pinecone Research, it's one of the most frequently recommended paid survey panels by Deal Seeking Mom readers.

The main difference between Pinecone and Synovate is that you will not earn cash for every survey. With Synovate, you'll earn points that you can redeem for cash once you reach a specified threshold. However, you will still have opportunities for product testing much like Pinecone.

Be sure to check out more legitimate paid survey sites here!

Nielsen Consumer Panel Accepting Applications

by Tara Kuczykowski on July 14, 2011 · 4 comments

Looking for a fun way to earn some great prizes? Then you might be interested in signing up for the Nielsen Consumer Panel.

Panel members are provided with a hand-held scanner, and then every time you or members of your household shop, you’ll use the scanner to scan the bar codes on all of your purchases. Upload your data to Nielsen once a week to earn gift points that are redeemable for cash or name-brand merchandise, including electronics equipment, jewelry, household items, toys, and much more!

I've been a Nielsen Consumer panelist in the past and enjoyed it very much. Nielsen is great about walking you through technical issues, so don't worry about feeling overwhelmed. Note that it was several months before I heard from them when I signed up – they have a limited number of openings available in each area.

The Nielsen Consumer Panel isn't for everyone (you can read some reader experiences here), but you can try it risk free. They'll provide you with a self-addressed, postage-paid box so you can return everything if you decide it's not for you!
