Grateful Giveaways #2: Jakks Fun Toys of Summer

by Tara Kuczykowski on June 5, 2012 · 587 comments

To kick off the summer, I'm excited to once again be part of the Grateful Giveaways group, bringing you 9 awesome giveaways for more summer fun. Watch for a new one every hour on the hour!

Next up is a giveaway for the kids:

Do you remember the summer days of your childhood? It probably included long days spent playing outside, and that probably included the classic Big Wheel Trike for more than a few of us -- I had this exact one!

Jakks Pacific makes both classic toys that we grew up with – like Big Wheels and Cabbage Patch dolls – and some of the most popular toys of today – including the Disney Fairies collection and Monsuno action figures!

Original Big Wheel
The original Big Wheel Trike comes with a 16" big wheel and three-position seat to grow with your kids. Perfect for kids ages 3 to 8 years, this classic toy provides hours of outdoor fun!

Sky High Tink
Send Tinkerbell flying high into the sky. Just set her in the flower base, pull the string and watch her soar up to 10 feet high!

Monsuno Action Figures & Launch Zone Combat Battle Arena
Monsuno transforming action figures are ready for a head-to-head battle competition in the high-tech engineered Launch Zone Combat Arena!

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win set of all three toys from Jakks Pacific, including the Original Big Wheel, Sky High Tink and a set of Monsuno Action Figures Plus Arena!

Entry is simple! You just need to answer the question below by leaving a comment on this site. You can even gain up to 3 bonus entries for doing each additional item listed (just make sure that you leave one entry for each one – up to a total of 4 comments.) As a reminder, comments left on Facebook, Twitter or other posts will not be counted.

REQUIRED ENTRY:

Leave a comment. Did you have a Big Wheel Trike as a kid? What's your favorite summer memory from your childhood?

BONUS ENTRIES:

1. Follow Deal Seeking Mom in a reader or via e-mail updates.

2. Follow Deal Seeking Mom on Facebook or Twitter.

3. Follow Jakks Pacific Toys on Facebook.

This giveaway will remain open until 11:59 p.m. EST, Tuesday 6/12. Any comments left after this cut-off will not be counted. The winner will be selected randomly and will be notified via email within 48 hours after the close of the contest.

This giveaway is part of the Grateful Giveaways: Summer Family Fun Event being hosted by myself and 9 other bloggers. You can increase your chances of winning this prize (as well as all of the others on this site), by visiting each of them and entering the same way as you did here. You have plenty of time to get to all of them, since the contest will be open for five full days.

If you haven’t already done so, you might want to print out this spreadsheet to help guide you through all of the entries on all of the blogs.

As one final reminder, you will want to check out the terms of the giveaway by visiting the Grateful Giveaways: Summer Family Fun Facebook page. Just click on the Terms tab on the left side of the page. (Note that by entering this contest, you agree that you have read the terms and are eligible to enter this contest).

big wheel favorite memory riding bikes with cousins

21 Stephanie Wade June 11, 2012 at 4:18 pm

I did not have one, but my cousins did, and I played with them whenever we went there! My favorite summer memory would be all the time we spent at my mom's friend's lake house. It wasn't what you'd normally think of, a regular house at the lake, it was a bare-bones place. Only one room had air conditioning, there was only one small bathroom, and it was a crappy place at best. A lot of times we would sleep in a tent outside. Even as crappy as the house was, it was a blast to be out there!

My favorite childhood memories were
going to my grandmas house for the
summer. There were 3 of us kids so
when I went to grandmas house I would
be the only child. I had a trike when I was a kid.
