FREE Johnson’s Buddies Soap: Coupons Reset

March 12, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 68 Comments

200I’ve mentioned before how much I love using Johnson’s Buddies soaps for my kids, so I’m thrilled to report that some of the coupon links have been reset!

I was able to print out two of the $1/1 coupons and four of the $2/2 coupons. It looks like the $3/3 coupon has not been reset, but give it a try. You never know!

Pick yours up by printing these coupons. The links are browser specific, so be sure to click on the correct one for your browser!

  • $1/1 Johnson’s Buddies (IE) or (Firefox)
  • $2/2 Johnson’s Buddies (IE) or (Firefox)
  • $2/2 Johnson’s Shampoo, Conditioner or Buddies (IE) or (Firefox)
  • $3/3 Johnson’s Products (IE) or (Firefox)

Make sure to hit the back button on your browser to print two of each!

Most stores, such as Target, Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens to name a few, carry these for around $0.99, so buy 1, 2 or 3 depending which coupon you use and build your stockpile.

Some stores will give you overage on the coupons, but others will need to adjust the amount of the coupon down to the price of the item since it’s less than the face value of the coupon making them free. If you want to avoid having the coupons beep though, a simple solution is to buy one more soap than you have coupons. For example, if you’re using one $1/1 coupon and one $2/2 coupon, buy four soaps to pay $0.96 out of pocket for them.

But if you know your store will allow overage or adjust down, printing all of the coupons above could net you as many as 16 bars of Johnson’s Buddies soaps for FREE!

    Hi,
When these came out earlier, I printed them all. Are you sure they were reset? I cannot get any of them to print from IE or Firefox. They all tell me that my limit is reached. Am I doing something wrong?

I got 17 free soaps at Toys-R-Us this afternoon! Thanks for all the great deals. I am going to send the extras to my husband and his soliders in Iraq. I am sure they will love them!

Crystal, the last time I printed them was in January when I posted them last time, so they seem to have been reset at some point. I think the $1/1 was new to me, so perhaps you printed that one somewhere else.

I had a catalina from HEB and got 3 and $.03 to boot! yes they gave me 3 pennies. then i tootled over to walmart and got 14 from the printed coupons (couldn’t get one of them to print twice) and only had to pay $.04 tax. total for the day — 17 soaps for a penny!
i think i’m going to save them for new babies born to our unit.

I couldn’t get them to print, but thank you for the update.

Zoomomtracy- I tried changing the letters and it wants me to install the coupon printer again. Does it make you do that?

Thanks so much for these! I got what you got, but couldn’t get the $3/3 ether. AT any rate, I’ll be able to pick a bunch up! I’m going to put a link on my blog to yours as well. Alot of adoptive parents read my blog, and I know they can use these for their children or to take to the orphanages overseas!

I was able to get the 2nd one for $2/2 to print twice, but the rest of them still say that my limit has been reached so I’ll just have to try back! Thanks for letting us know since I got coupons for 4 more bars at least!

Hi Crystal! Sorry, never got that message… to reinstall the coupon printer. For me, once I change that letter and hit the little green arrow on the far right of my address bar, they print right out… i get so irritated when the different coupon sites are so picky. my favorite is the bricks site where one of their representatives gives me the stink eye and tells me my default printer isn’t selected… and it is. oh well, what can we do but use our friends, family and company computers?!

I haven’t been able to print these off for several months (probably since last fall–October maybe?), even when others say it is reset for them. It always says my print limit is reached. I don’t understand why…

I tried these at my Target today ($2/2) for the Buddies soap specifically. The store would not take them because the bars were 97 cents each, which would have meant a few pennies over! (I tried to use 2 coupons, so for four bars of soap.)
I was frustrated because I’ve been to that store before using that same kind of coupon and had no problems.
It was a frustrating time at our mall Target because they also wouldn’t accept my Target coupons for the Goldfish crackers and Motts applesauce because the coupons would not scan! Funny because I was there two days ago to use other coupons for the same items!!
Guess I will try our other local Target.
I had a great freebie time otherwise today to redeem my Bath and Body Works True Blue Spa item (except the cashier didn’t seem happy with my “any purchase”–two $1 bottles of the new lotion); my aerie panty; and my PINK Nation freebie, which was a panty since the tote has not been available.

Target wouldn’t take these! I even asked for a manager! The manager said that I could only use one coupon per transaction and that she would only take off 97 cents per coupon! She said the coupons should say buy one get one free. I told her that she didn’t. She said that they couldn’t use the coupon as it was printed because the product was less than the coupon. They were 97 cents and the coupon was a dollar off each one. I said that I didn’t care about losing the extra cents. Was this just a lame manager and I should go to another store?

I was able to successfully redeem the $3 off 3 at the Marble Hill Target in the Bronx NYC today. The soaps were $1.12 each, so we got 3 for 36 cents + tax. We also literally got the last 3 soaps they had, so I suspect other readers beat us to them! Thanks so much for posting this great deal!

I was able to print 2 of each….YEA!!! Also, after printing, it directs you to the J&J page that lists coupons on the right side. The one on the very bottom $1/1 any J&J shampoo printed 2 times for me as well, so I got 10 coupons!! WOO HOO!!

I’m not sure about the wording on every coupon but I think the gist is $2/2 or $3/3 johnson’s product (excluding 4oz). It is just excluding that ONE trial size product not the buddies bars because they aren’t trial size. If they were excluding the bars it would say something like “any product OVER 4ozs or whatever” so they should take them.

However, sometimes my Target gives me problems (Walmart never has) because the coupon beeps due to the couple cent overage. I found a way around that though… I use the Johnson’s “safety swabs” (basically fat q-tips for little ears so you don’t go in too deep) on my boys. They are around $1.20 so buy how many ever buddies you have coupons for but throw on the safety swabs instead of one of the buddies at the end to cover overage from the buddies. Your coupon doesn’t beep and the cashier has no worries! Clear as mud?

Works for me since I buy these q-tips anyways…

Well, by the time I finally printed these, my Kroger only had 1 bar left. :( But I was able to get a few at Wal-Mart for 97 cents each, which was a relief. I guess I have until April 1 to find some more of those bars….I’ll probably try Target next since I haven’t had any trouble with the one here as of yet.

I LOVE FREE!!! Only wish I could find more coupons/free items!!! It’s kind of a bummer when I have a really good week and then the next week…nothing. :)

I am very new to this so a quick question for the veterans: I know that all Walmarts are different, but in theory, can I use all of my J$J coupons in one transaction? Does Walmart allow overage? Thank you!

You can definitely use all of your coupons in one transaction. Overage will vary from store to store at Walmart, but I’ve found you’re more likely to get it if you have a large transaction.

Amazing. I got 6 bars today while at Target, I wish I would have known I could use all of them. I have to go to walmart so I’ll get the rest.

Even better is that I has access to a whole office of computers! So far only 2 have worked but that is 36 bars free!

I also found on my Mac that I needed to use Safari and the Firefox link to print. Weird.
