In the new book, Where's Walrus, an adventurous walrus escapes when he gets bored sitting around the zoo day after day. To disguise himself, the walrus tries on hats for different types of occupations. Is he a firefighter? Perhaps a walrus construction worker would be inconspicuous.

Author Stephen Savage is known for his illustrations, with Polar Bear Night being named New York Times Best Illustrated children’s book and an American Library Association notable book. In 2008, he received a Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators.

I loved the Scholastic Book Club when I was in grammar school and always got to order a pile of books. My favorite was Clifford the Red Dog - I'd love to be able to share these books with my grandchildren

Although I have not read "Where's Walrus?" I read several children's books to my two young sons every day. I love Jan Brett's books; one of hers is a favorite: "The Three Snow Bears."

My very favorite children's book was Mooney Mouse. I read it so many times and had it read to me so many times, it is literally in pieces, and I still have those pieces today ! :)

I'm a teacher and it's hard to pick just one favorite book!!! When I was little I loved Sherlock Chick. My mom read it to me all the time. But now, I love Elmer by David Mckee! : ) This Where's Walrus book looks adorable btw.
