TerraCycle's mission is to recycle these items into affordable, eco-friendly products. They're making "upcycling" trendy with their adorable backpacks, binders, and lunch boxes!
Want to get paid for your trash? Join one of their FREE Brigades and TerraCycle will pay you per piece for sending them your non-recyclable waste materials.

Among other things, we minimize our garbage through composting and recycling.

We recycle as much of our waste as we can. We also buy recycled and reuse what we can. Repurposing is one of my favorite things to do. I try to find new uses for old things.

We shop thrift stores for clothing and donate to thrift stores the clothing that the kids outgrow. We use cloth shopping bags. We recycle and reuse as many items as possible.

My friends call me the recycle queen. I've been known to take recyclables out of their trash can when I'm at their house for a function - it drives me crazy when they throw away something recyclable!

We reuse and recycle just about everything we can. I've started using more cloth rags and less paper towels in the kitchen. And everyone has their own reusuable water bottle that we don't leave home without.

I joined the Terracycle community on Facebook. Cool stuff! Hope I win! We are BIG recyclers in my family. Our town doesn't pick up our recycling, so we have to pack it up and take it ourselves every two weeks. We even take our neighbor's recycling!!!!
We recycle everything we can, we have energy star appliances, we pass on clothes we aren't using anymore (and accept clothes from my sister-in-law for our daughter), we use mostly rags instead of paper towels.... I am sure there is more but I can't think of them right now! :)
