Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting several 24-hour giveaways throughout the day to give you plenty of chances to win!
My husband is not a big fan of fish, but he’s willing to give it a try every so often. So I fully expected him to turn up his nose at the fish entrées that Sea Cuisine sent us to sample. Surprisingly, he really enjoyed the Mediterranean Crusted Salmon and White Wine & Herb Shrimp. I don’t think he’ll ask for it frequently, but it will definitely add some variety to our menu in the future.
Now my kids loved the Potato Crusted Cod. It has a very mild flavor that appealed to their picky palates. And I happened to love the Tortilla Crusted Tilapia. Note that it is very spicy though, so if you’re not into the heat, it’s probably not the variety for you.
But don’t take my word for it, Sea Cuisine products are on sale at a variety of stores right now. Use these $1 off coupons to save even more:
- $1/1 High Liner Sea Cuisine printable

Similar to your husband, I’m not a huge seafood fan – fish sticks are about as “seafoody” as I get, so I’d like to try these.

The first time I ate Salmon was at the Marine Corps Ball in Galveston, TX at Moody Gardens. I didn’t grow up eating fish, not one time. The only reason I picked up a piece of Salmon from the buffet was because I thought it was chicken, and even after eating some I still thought it was chicken because I wasn’t gagging. The Salmon was covered in a sauce with capers, first time I had those too. Anyway, I still try to eat Salmon sometimes for the health benefits, but there cannot be any skin, not one piece or I will GAG and not eat it again for a long time, I also prefer fillet instead of steak cut because it looks less like fish. Also, ever since the first time I watched Splashdance I always thought about having Lobster, I’ve tried Lobster but not like that. Come on, I can’t be the only one waiting for a moment like that after watching the Lobster scene ;) (ok, too much info, lol)

Seafood isn’t my thing, but I’m pregnant and since all the pregnancy books say to add a bit of fish to my diet, this seems like a great way to try some out!
