I like to picnic at Mt. Diablo State Park in CA. I packed up my mom and the kids in the Spring and we saw coyotes, birds, squirrels and many pretty spring flowers. My daughter found a pine cone the size of her head! Pretty awesome.
There is a park with a lake a few miles from our house. It has handicapped facilties and a fenced in playground. There are lots of picnic tables and grills.

We love to picnic at a little park at the base of Mt. Rainier. The view is
awesome, and the pack is ever so clean and convenient to access,
expecially for us disabled seniors.
Our favorie place is on the beach under a palm tree with a nice ocean breeze going on.

I love picnics!!! I love to go up to a little trail near Snohomish, WA. There's a great place along the river and some old railroad tracks. It's beautiful, peaceful and serene. Great place for a picnic. My second favorite place is the beach, of course. I love the beaches here in Washington - there are so many to choose from. Soft and sandy or rocky and rugged. Either way, it's a great place for a picnic with friends and family. :) Thank you, DSM and Pyrex! What a great offer!

Near the water - especially a lake or river. There's a great spot in Helen, GA where my family goes every summer. The water is low enough that the kids wade and deep enough in another area for some great cannonballs! It's a great place to play and enjoy lunch.
