Last movie was Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Our family rule is we have to read the book, THEN we can see the movie. My kids have read lots a great books and we have had some excellent conversations about how the stories changed (or not) in the movie, and why.

My husband and I recently took our two boys to see Kung Fu Panda 2. Wehave a four year old and a five year old. They are only eight months apart and love going to the movies. While we were there we seen a preview for Mr. Poppers Penguins. My five year old has been walking around the house for the last two weeks acting out the scene with Jim Carey teaching the penguins ice ice baby. It is the funniest thing ever. They would be thrilled to get to see this movie in theaters.
