Mr. Popper's Penguins hits theaters on June 17th. Starring Jim Carey, Carla Gugino and Angela Lansbury, this lighthearted tale of a driven businessman, Mr. Popper (played by Jim Carrey), who inherits 6 penguins. His life is turned topsy-turvey as the penguins invade his condo and turn it into their winter wonderland playground and start getting him to ques what's really important and what really matters in life. This charming movie based on the classic book is one that will be fun for the whole family.

I saw Rio with my 2 boys and really enjoyed it. This movie looks cute as well. Hard to find good movies that won't give my boys bad ideas. :)

Does not matter the age of the child it is the shared memories that are important. So even though my hubby and I see these kind of movies by ourselves, the last movie was Happy Feet with our adult married daughter. It was just like when she was little! Hearing her laughing was priceless!

we have yet to take my daughter to a movie, but I saw a movie with my nieces a few years a go (maybe 4 years...lol). I can't think of what it was called - maybe underdog? The one where Jason Lee was the voice...
