Win-It Wednesday: Melissa & Doug Play Kitchen from Gummy Lump!

by Tara Kuczykowski on July 21, 2010 · 1,028 comments

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

We love toys that foster creativity and independent play, and the Melissa & Doug Play Kitchen certainly fits the bill! Gummy Lump sent us this gorgeous kitchen for my girls to try out, and I've been regularly "dining" on homecooked gourmet lunches and snacks courtesy of my two daughters ever since.

The Melissa & Doug Play Kitchen is very sturdy and spacious, and I love the bright colors and design, especially the retro cherries. It was shipped in two separate (very heavy) boxes, but it only took my husband about an hour to put it together. I suspect it probably would have only taken half the time if he'd had a little less "help." You know the saying about too many cooks...

The Melissa & Doug Play Kitchen is currently on sale for $199.99, plus you get FREE shipping! Also, when you buy 3 Melissa & Doug Play Food Sets, you'll get the 4th set FREE! No coupon necessary.

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Melissa & Doug Play Kitchen from Gummy Lump!

To enter, tell me if you have wooden toys in your home? Do you have a favorite?

So far I think the only wooden toys we have are Thomas the train wooden sets. I would love to add more wooden toys to my children's toybox :)

My kids don't currently have wooden toys, but this would definetly put a smile on both of my daughters' faces b/c I'm sure they would really enjoy this!

My daughter has wooden blocks and they keep her occupied for long periods of time. Besides the clean up, they are our favorite!

I only have one wooden toy right now, a Melissa and Doug puzzle that I bought my son for Christmas last year. He really likes it though so I would LOVE to win this!!

We love M&D toys at our house! Our two boys "cook" using the wooden pantry, fruit and vegetable items often. They also love the stacking train set. If it's M&D, it's welcome in our home!

My daughter has a Melissa & Doug "sushi set" that she loves. She also has a Melissa & Doug bug-catching puzzle and a pull-along frog. We love Melissa & Doug. I could never afford this kitchen, but I know she would love it, and her 2nd birthday is coming up next month. I hope we win!
*fingers crossed*
