Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!
If you’re in the market for a new high chair, the Joovy Nook should definitely be an option you look into. This thing is fantastic! My only regret is not finding it sooner so that I could have used it with more of my kids.
Some of my favorite features:
- Folds up ultra compact — this is so important when you have a lot of baby gear and not a lot of room!
- Five-point harness — my oldest boy was quite the Houdini, and I’m sure this feature would have kept him put. As it is, it keeps my two-year-old securely in place, and the padded straps look quite comfortable.
- Swing-open tray — juggling a baby and a plate of food, all while trying to keep the dog from snatching a taste, is tough. The swing-open tray makes it easy to open with one hand, leaving your other hand free for wrangling!
- Easy to clean — the leatherette version wipes clean easily, and the bright, cheery fabric covers can be tossed right in the washing machine!
Best of all the Joovy Nook just looks cool! I’m a sucker for contemporary design, and this is eye-catching, yet sturdy. Choose from black or white leatherette or orange or green fabric.

This highchair has pretty much everything I want. I also have a little Houdini, so the five point harness and swing open tray would help immensely! Love how it looks too. I also joined the Joovy community on Facebook.

Safety and ease of use is most important to me. We are selling our old high chair and getting something else because the old one is not easy to use.

We have a family of 8 (Me, My Husband and 5 children(4 boys, 1 Baby girl) + My Lil’ sister) with a dining table that seats only 6. The chairs we have are VERY bulky, the old type that doesn’t fold up. I’m looking for a new one that can be easily folded and stored when not in use. That fact that it is easy to clean with a swing tray would help make clean up with the kids much faster . Thanks for the entry!
BTW: I love your site….I check it several times a day to see what deals I can match up to my area, Thanks for all the Info!

I guess my first answer is value, do you really need tons of bells and whisles to feed your child? I do my research and see what i can get for the money.(trying to spend the least amount as possable.) Cleanablity is my second best, a removable tray that dishwasher safe is great. The folding is a great feature that my 3 Dollar garage sale model does not have. My mom made it new cover and we put new straps on it. People make fun of it, and always threaten to buy me a new one, but i still have my trusty 3 dollar highchair. I’m a bargin hunter to the heart, but i never compramise safety, we re fit it with safty starps and I also checked it for recalls. the money i saved on the highchair bought alot of diapers (Also on sale). We’ve passed it around to 3 families now. good value thats, reliable equals good buy not matter what you paid

I’d love the Joovey high chair for my pending grandchild! Looks are important but the number one thing I look for would be safety. Put safety and the great sleek look together and you’ve got a great product!

I definitely look for ease of cleaning in a highchair. My son used to make such a mess of his high chair that I became an expert at taking off the seat cover and cleaning it.
Angela
Easy to clean is a must.
