I love Food Network Magazine, so I was excited to see what their latest book had to offer. As promised, it delivers lots of fast and easy recipes with additional kitchen tips from the stars sprinkled throughout. I especially love the visual recipe index in the front of the book and the Mix & Match sections at the end of each chapter that give you a customizable recipe.
I was also thrilled that they included a number of tasty side dishes. We're perfectly happy eating basic grilled chicken, pork, and burgers frequently during the warmer months if we can pair them with a variety of sides.

We paired this quinoa with some simple grilled chicken for a fast, easy, filling and tasty meal tonight! It's a variation on the Israelis Couscous with Raisins recipe. We didn't have any couscous, so I improvised -- and the resulting side was delicious!

I look in the freezer and then ask my husband to narrow down the options - he's the fussy one!

Always new new ideas.
I usually make whatever my husband wants or if the kids request something i make it. Sometimes I even plan meals ahead, it varies a lot!!
I am an email subscriber, and I hope that this is posted in time.
My plans for my family's dinner is usually not planned, but what can be found to cook most nights.
I figure out what is on sale for the week to decide side dishes, and I pull out some frozen meat for the main course.
I subscribe to DSM via email.
I look to see what i have on hand and if nothing sounds good i usually end up going to the market.
I usually look at what I have in the fridge and make something with that!

Usually I cook what sounds good. It's nice to have a menu but that doesn't happen as much as it should. :)
I usually end up making something quick and easy! We aren't home for a long periods of time. Sometimes I cook a couple of meals on Sunday evening to reheat through the week!

it's tough to decide, i always have most stuff but it gets boring so i will try something new

I plan ahead and make sure to have meat thawed and use alot of Birdseye frozen veggies and Uncle Bens 90 sec rice. It makes a well rounded meal very quick.

Generally whatever I think sounds yummy I make....sometimes noone else in the family agrees but the know the rules..."This isn't a diner, I don't cook to order. Get what ya get and dont throw a fit!"
