I actually had a little clothes design kit when I was 12-13 years old that let me use templates and crayons in a special holder to come up with different outfits and then color designs onto the outfits. It was so much fun that I wish it hadn't gotten broken and had to be thrown away. I still remember how fun it was. Funnily enough it was called "Fashion Plates"!!

31 shauna pagel February 25, 2010 at 9:20 am

I used to draw "my own line" of clothing when I was younger. I had thought about going into design but I did the safe thing and became a nurse!!

32 Marie R February 25, 2010 at 9:29 am

As a kid I would I always wanted to design my own clothes. I would use my barbie fashion plates all the time and draw clothes

33 Heather February 25, 2010 at 9:38 am

My daughter would love this! I used to use the "old fashioned" fashion plates when I was a kid...you would put them in and lay paper on top and rub a crayon over it to see your "design"!
