Ecozoo Bags by Ecogear
I just think these Ecozoo Bags are so adorable! They’re soft, just the right size for my little man, and made from organic cotton. When we opened the box, my two year old immediately stuffed his blue elephant full of his favorite toys and trusty blanket and proclaimed that he was “goin’ school” like his older brothers.
More About Ecogear
The inspiration for the Ecogear line of eco-friendly bags came from the founder’s desire to help ensure that his children would have a clean and healthy planet to enjoy when they grew up. All of their bags are made with planet-friendly organic cotton, PVC-free materials, recycled plastics and toxic-free dyes and components so you can feel good about your purchase.

We’re recycling, changed all our light bulbs to CFL’s, and turned down the thermostat 2 degrees! For a 3000 sq ft house that makes a big difference!

We’ve been using reusable sandwich and snack bags to go more green.

We are making an effort to waste less and have started recycling.

We already did a lot of green things in 2009 (cloth diapers, reusable bags, homemade cleaning solutions, etc.) so new in 2010 is a commitment to cloth napkins.

Well, we just bought a new High Efficiency washer and dryer, and that has helped save water and energy big time! We also are recycling much more than we used to (in fact, we now have two recycling bins out each week instead of one). And even though I fought this a bit at the beginning, we’ve turned our heat down this year for the first time.
Thanks!
PAM

We are trying to use some cloth bags. We also have all CFL bulbs. Sometimes the green products cost more so it’s hard but the little things we can do, we do.

We are using our reusable bags more (I kept forgetting them in the car before!), switching lightbulbs, recycling more of our paper/catalogs/etc, and trying hard to cut down our paper towel use… basically breaking all our old bad habits!!

One of my goals in 2010 is to try making my own laundry detergent! That would be a huge reduction in plastic bottle usage in our house, not to mention having a more controlled effort in the ingredients used on our clothes.
