Win-It Wednesday: DXG Luxe 1080p Ultra Slim Camcorder

by Tara Kuczykowski on October 5, 2011 · 732 comments

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday, with 24-hour giveaways just for you!

There is just something so special about recording all of your families precious memories and traditions to watch in years to come. And with the holiday season fast approaching, now is an excellent time to invest in a quality camcorder to capture your memories this year!

The DXG Luxe 1080p Slim HD Camcorder combines HD technology and style in one device. It features a classic design that is inspired by the latest trends in fashion and will complement anyone's taste and personal style.

This camcorder records real 1080p high definition video and captures still pictures up to 12 megapixels. It also boasts a 3" touchscreen display and an HDMI interface so it can easily be connected to your HDTV. This camcorder comes with everything you need to start recording your precious memories right away.

Although I really, really love the Violet Riviera color, I chose to try the Red Riviera shade knowing that my hubby will likely use it at some point and he does not share my love of all things purple. I have to say there's a lot of value packed into this tiny camcorder! Smaller than my iPhone, it shoots both high quality HD video and digital photos, switching between modes easily -- a must for moms trying capture those little moments we don't want to forget. It comes complete with its own stylish matching carrying case, so you can toss it in your purse on the go without worries.

The DXG Luxe was ready to go right out of the box, and comes with software that allows you to customize your videos and create photo books directly. The only additional item I might recommend is an SD card for the digital camera mode, and you can purchases these pretty inexpensively these days.

Today, one lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will receive a DXG Luxe 1080p Ultra Slim Camcorder.

To enter, tell me what memories you would most like to record.

I would like to record my baby girl's milestones, cute/funny moments, etc. They are only small for so long! She will be one years old in a few months, so I'd like to record her first birthday!

11 Courtney U. October 6, 2011 at 2:18 pm

I would use it to record my (almost) 4 month old sons "firsts" not only for my husband and I to look back on but to send to my parents who do not live in the same city as us. I am an only child and my husband and I are only having one so this is and will be their only grandchild! :)

I love catching totally unexpected clips such as my 7 year old daughter making up a song and singing it in her room thinking know one is listening/watching! - that actually sounds creepy now that I typed it!

My little girl is growing up too fast and we don't have a decent video camera. I'd love to capture some of these early times before 10 months suddenly becomes 10 years!

I would like to be able to capture any video of better quality than what I take on my iPhone. My parents live 900 miles away and I would love to be able to send them some better quality video of their granddaughter.

My husband was deployed to Iraq when our twins were 10 months old. He missed all the big FIRSTS. I would record all of our son's, now 8
months, big firsts so they aren't missed too.
