Our family is on a pretty tight budget these days so we have found some nice inexpensive ways to have family outings. One of our favorites is on Sunday afternoon we go and get a fruit smoothie (my daughter is addicted to smoothies) and we walk around Petsmart and look at all the animals. If the weather is nice (not too smokin hot) we go to the duck pond and feed the ducks and turtles!

We love taking our son to the park and let him run around like crazy. We also love hiking and swimming.

We love hanging out it the park, and will often have little picnics on nice days. But our favorite is visiting family up at their lakehouse, there is nothing like summers in northern Michigan on the water!

Our family fun consists of a variety of things. My kids are heavily into sports. So as a family we support each other and go to each others activity or game. Every Weekend we have a family fun night. Which consists of either games (board games, card games or video games) or family movie night. We have a subscription to Netflix which makes it so easy to receive movies for our special night. Another activity that we like to enjoy as a family is going to the Driller's Ball Game. We also like going for walks and going to the park. We also invite families to our house and as the kids play with each other, we can have much needed adult conversation. We love spending time together and depending on money situation whether we do something free or requires money.
