I keep a coin jar, but we rarely use cash to pay for anything so the jar is very slow to fill! Consequently I don’t count it often at all. We use it at the moment to pay for tolls to and from visits to family.
Katherine
I used to work as a barista and consequently had a coin jar that filled up really fast from tips. Now I just have random change from grocery shopping, so we only cash it in like once a year.

I don’t keep a coin jar, but I give my change to my daughter. She loves putting it into her piggy bank.
Ayisha
I keep a coin jar and count it when it gets full or if we’re short on cash. :o)

We cash out our coin jar when it is filled (it’s not very large) and we usually have a date night with the proceeds.
Kim
We don’t keep a coin jar. I use the quarters at the dollar store and I give the smaller change to my son.

We have what is supposed to be a fish tank, but we started putting coins in there when my son was 1. He’s now 5! We’ve counted it all once… a few years ago, no idea how much is in there now but its full!
Rebecca
I do not have a coin jar but I may start one after hearing this.
