We use rechargable AA and AAA batteries for many of our electronics. Our digital camera battery died at our child's Christmas program, very bad timing!! jenmizener at gmail dot com

As always....on sale with a coupon. I have been fortunate to never have my batteries die during picture taking! Robin

I use rechargable batteries now after being at a Detroit Tigers baseball game and being on the feild to meet some of the players. Not good timing to have my batteries die at that much anticipated day. I am also a subscriber.

Thanks to your website, I've been able to take advantage on some good prices at Target.

We typically use rechargeables to save money. We always keep regular batteries with our camera as well, and have had to make some quick battery changes at times, like at my sons preschool concert! Luckily I only missed the first few lines of one song!

15 Danielle January 20, 2010 at 11:51 pm

I look for the best deals with coupons/ECB/Reg Rewards for batteries when I need them.

Many a times I've had the batteries run out in my camera when trying to take pictures of our son.

We just switched to the Eneloop batteries...they are supposed to be the best rechargeables on the market. That will hopefully save us money in the long run, cuz we did have to lay out a LOT of money in the beginning. This seems great....power when you forget to charge your batteries. :-)

23 Tracy January 21, 2010 at 12:25 am

We started switching to all rechargeable batteries...we still have some we use that aren't, but we've already found that we've saved money by the rechargeable we have already started using.

We save money on batteries by looking for good sales, esp at the drugstores. We've unfortunately had our digital camera die on us at critical times - we now have one with a rechargeable battery pack.

32 Nicole D. January 21, 2010 at 1:04 am

I usually buy batteries with coupons only or when the go on sale. I have a tv in my bedroom and it only turns on with the remote cuz the power button on the tv is broke. So when the batteries die, theirs no tv, and sometimes i have no extra batteries on hand. But when that happens i usually read a good book. ;)

I just recently got my raincheck AA/AAA charger from when Walgreens had them on sale but ran out, and I use them as much as possible. Also, I never pay full price for batteries. There are just too many chances to get them for less or free with coupons!
