We’re consciously buying fewer toys that need them, but this would sure come in handy for daily essentials.

I save money on batteries by using coupons on the Rayovac coupons in the dollar spot at Target. Gotta love free batteries!
Jodi
I buy batteries in bulk at Sam’s club for a better price. The worst thing to happen is to have your camera batteries die in the middle of an important moment like your kids’ birthday!
Simon
Rechargeable batteries have always been my way of saving money and helping the environment.

I save money on batteries by shopping during the after-Christmas sales and using coupons, that saves time/money and my kids b-day’s are back to back so it’s very convenient!

I try using rechargeable batteries when I can. If not, if they go dead, hubby checks them to see if they have any charge. some do, so we keep those as back ups!
sara
We try to use rechargeable batteries when possible and teach our kids to turn off their toys when not in use.

We try not to buy things that need batteries, and then we always make sure to turn off battery-powered things when not in use. Sometimes (if I’m thinking of it) I’ll just go ahead and remove the batteries if we’re not using the device for a while.
