I mentioned last week how excited my 3-year-old daughter was for the remastered Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to come out, and she was not one bit disappointed. I think we watched it 4 times the first day and at least once a day every day since. I loved watching her take such delight in a movie that I loved as a child, and I even noticed a few things that were new to me -- like the fact that Snow White is wearing clogs at the beginning!
I'm also thrilled that Disney is offering the dual DVD/Blu-ray combination pack. I recently cashed in my Swag Bucks for a Playstation 3 so we now have the ability to view Blu-ray movies in our living room, but we still have the DVD edition that we can pop in the DVD player in our car for those long trips.
I've got a special treat for all of you Snow White and/or Disney fans out there!
One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Snow White Limited Edition Collector's Set, valued at $190, which includes:
- Diamond Edition combo pack
- The Making of a Masterpiece collector's book

My favorite movie is Little Mermaid... I think I first watched it when it came out .. around 1989.... OMG I've watched it tons and tons of times... Sometimes w/ my 6yr old.. At first he refused to watch it w/ me bc he thought it was a girls movie but I explained to him that it has boys in it too so it was ok... And also had Sebastian ... Lol...
In 1965, my dad and mom were going through a very bad divorce. I was 5. My dad left our home at our mothers request and didn't even own a car of his own. He would have to borrow cars or get rides to pick us up for a very limited visitation.
Needless to say, I was always so excited when our day with Dad would come. One night, he told my mom to have me
ready, with a blanket and pillow because he had a surprise for me. Our own, special night out, just the two of us.
I remember standing at the door, wondering where he was taking me because it was starting to get a little dark.
All of a sudden, an old, beat up white Volkswagen pulled up in front of our house.
It was Dad, beaming in his "new" used beat up car and he was taking me to my first "drive in" movie......Mary Poppins.....I still remember the sound and smell of that car, and how happy my Dad was to do something special....for both of us....
To this day, I am now 49, I remember that night very clearly, and the move Mary Poppins has always been my all time favorite!

Cathie Kushner
My favorite movie is "The Little Mermaid." I can't wait to introduce my daughter to the Disney classics!
Mary Poppins has to be my all time favorite Disney movie. We have the Platinum addition at home on DVD. Who doesn't love a sassy nanny who can snap her fingers and clean a room? I sing those songs to my girls all the time and they never get old. :)

Not to sound to mushy, but my favorite Disney Movie would have to be the classic, Lady and the Tramp. It reminds me of my wife who saw beyond my mongrel appearance and loved me in spite of what everyone else said and made me a better/happier person because of that unconditional love.
Cinderella! It was the first movie I saw and I saw it at a drive in! I have such good memories of the whole experience and who doesn't love a Love Story!

I don't know how many people have seen that Disney is offering free tickets for volunteering for a day starting in January. I have 4 kids, so the possibility of all6 of us going to Disney world was not going to happen next year, but with this offer my entire family can volunteer & get a free ticket to Disney. I just thought I would let all the parents who are in the same financial position know about this offer that will be starting Jan 2010, kids 6 and up can participate with an adult! It is called " Give a day, Get a Disney day."
My favorite Disney movie would be the lion king. When I was a child I use to watch it everyday

Fox & the Hound...I used to have to bite my lip to keep from crying during that movie.
I've always liked Belle from Beauty and the Beast because of her love of reading. I still wish I had her library! I don't know how many times I've watched the movie but I do remember singing along as a child.
There are so many to choose from....but if I had to choose I would have to say Snow White or Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty or can I just say any classic Disney movie! hehe!
What a fabulous offer! My favorite princess is Ariel in Little Mermaid.
