I give the teachers Tupperware containers that are filled with chocolates. I am usually able to pick up the containers for a buck or so when my consultant has parties that people don't do the cheap stuff with purchase. A couple of years ago, I was able to score the small round modular mates for a dollar a piece. The teachers are thrilled because it isn't another candle. :) and they can use it.

I like giving hand-made cards and gifts. They are cheaper and more special in my opinion.

I like to bake Pioneer Woman's cinnamon rolls, and tie them up with a pretty bow and a card... and send them to school still warm from the oven.

We sell pasta in fun shapes as a swim team fundraiser each year. They come in the shape of college logos, music notes, cats dogs, basketballs, all kinds of things. I buy the fundraiser pasta for teh teachers based on their interest. It's something they can actually use, that isn't another knick nack to sit on their desks!
