If you want a sweet sauce to liven up cooked carrots or whatever veggie sounds good, just mix a bit of greek yogurt w/maple syrup...the real stuff...to taste, top the veggie w/ it and sprinkle w/a bit of cinnamon...tranforms it easily ;p

I've never seen the Whole Deal newsletter in the store either. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place. Next time I'm there, I will ask at the customer service desk. I'd love to stack a coupon to try Oikos for free!

On the subject of Greek yogurt, I printed a couple (buy 2 get 1 free) coupons to try Chobani fat-free Greek yogurt. I had never tried Greek style yogurt before, and always buy Yoplait Light. So far I've tried Chobani's Strawberry and Peach flavors, and have Pomegranite and Blueberry left to try.

I like that Chobani is fruit-on-the-bottom yogurt, because it gives me more fruit chunks than Yoplait Light. Since it doesn't have the artificial flavoring like Yoplait, Chobani allows you to taste plain yogurt through the added natural flavorings. The consistency is like sour cream to me, and not as sweet as Yoplait. I found it at Kroger (central OH) for $1.19 each, so with my coupon & buying 3, they were $0.79 each. More than I like to spend on yogurt, but since it does have like double the protein as Yoplait, it stays with you longer.

I called my Whole Foods the other day about using a standard manufacturer's coupon with a WF (Mambo Sprouts) coupon and was told I couldn't...but I don't think the person really understood what I was saying and after I'd been through it 3 times, I thanked her and hung up. So, are coupons stackable at every WF, or only some?

I just tried it about 2 weeks ago and absolutely loved it! It is so creamy and delicious. Its not as tangy as yogurt, in my opinion, and the thickness is very similar to sour cream.

My kids love it right now paired up with pears! No need to add sweetener...the pear slices are sweet enough on their own. Delicious! We also use it in place of sour cream or with fresh fruit added in. I really like that it is versatile and can be sweetened up or used as a tangy base.

Mmm, these all sound delicious. Now I really must try it. My kids love gyros, so I bet they'd like the sauce to dip veggies in.

Greek yogurt is very thick and creamy, it seems like it should be bad for you its so rich. Oikos honey yogurt is one of my favorites! You can make your own Greek yogurt (sometimes called yogurt cheese) by straining regular yogurt, I think cheese cloth works better then coffee filters as mentioned in the link below. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/greek-yogurt-recipe/index.html
You can also make dips using Greek yogurt in place of sour cream and Yogurt Cheese Pie by straining your own yogurt (you'll need the quart size) or using premade Greek yogurt, sweetening it with honey or sugar, vanilla and/or citrus zest and spreading it into a graham cracker crust. You can also just strain vanilla or lemon yogurt and cut out or cut back on the sugar/honey. Top off with fresh fruit.

You can use the plain as a sour cream substitute with no fat but still creamy, unlike fat free sour cream.

If you make your own ice cream, you can make great frozen yogurt out of this stuff. I would recommend raw honey to sweeten it up so you get the sweetness and the health benefits of raw honey -- without the chemicals of fake sweeteners.

Smoother, creamier, and much more expensive than regular yogurt -- but worth the price. No mysterious chemical additives. Somewhat more tangy than "regular" yogurt, but really delicious with fresh strawberries and a bit of granola.

This stuff is so yummy. I usually get the plain, add a packet of splenda and 1/2 a pack (or more) of diet cocoa powder...tastes like a chocolate pudding. The honey flavored is pretty good too, but again I usually put a packet of splenda in. The Greek yogurts, to me, tend to not be quite as sweet as the other style yogurts, but do seem more filling.

Thanks for the tip about the coupons...
