One of the questions I'm asked most frequently these days is, "Which grocery stores double coupons in [my area]?" I've generally been responding by telling them to contact their local stores and ask what their policy is -- but today it occurred to me that perhaps we could create a resource that will save everyone a little time and energy.
So to that end, I'd like to compile a list of grocery stores that double by state, and I need your help. Please scroll down and leave a comment on this post with your state and any grocery stores that you know of that double coupons.
I'll use the information to create a resource that will allow users to easily look up their state and find out which stores will double coupons. Thanks for your help!

MN - Rainbow foods doubles up to 5 $1 off coupons on Wed & Sat if ur before coupon bill is at least $25; & they occasionally advertise a double double coupon day where they will double up to 10 $1 off coupons.
Here in Central Texas around Fort Hood I have found that Brookshire Brothers doubles up to 50 cents and triples up to 39 cents. Also IGA doubles and triples on Mon, Wed, and Fri only BUT coupons are not doubled on sale items. That is all I have found so far.
If you are willing to go to Austin Randalls doubles coupons up to 50 centa and triples up o 39 cents. Also they have a store card that you can load coupons on too and you can coupon stack.
Martins in the Shenandoah Valley of Va doubles up to .50 coupons. But, the amount taken off can not exceed the value of the item. So, if mustard is on sale for .99 and you have a coupon for .50 it will take off the additional .49 but no "money making". Also, you can only redeem ONE like coupon that is doubling per day. So, in the above example, you can only get one mustard for free - any other of that same coupon will NOT double. Also, any coupon that says "do not double" will not be doubled. Is that confusing? Sorry! No "extreme couponing" at Martins!
The Price Choppers In Malone, Massena, and Potsdam, NY double up to $1. BUT, once your coupon amount reaches 50% of your bill, they stop doubling your coupons. There are some ways to get around this though.
Waldbaums in Howard Beach, NY double coupons up to 99cents
Krogers in Fairlawn, VA and Christiansburg, VA both double coupons.
I live in Salem Oregon. I shop at the Safeway store here, They will double up to .50 cents on the four lowest coupons. This is a great idea, thank you for compiling the list, Penny

Family Fare - doubles up to .50
Meijer - doubles up to .50 - 2 like coupons per transaction
Meadville, PA -- Tops and Giant Eagle; both up to 99 cents
Central NC- Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods both double up to 99 cent coupons. Kroger doubles to 50 cent coupons.
Once in a while Harris Teeter will triple up to 99 cent coupons (limit 20 coupons) and sometimes they will super double. (Double up 1.99 coupons).

Rockford Illinois, Highlander (kroger), and Logli (shnucks) doubles up to .55 cents.
In Central, New Jersey, Pathmark, Shoprite and Stop & Shop double up to .99 cents more weeks than not. pathmark has been doing recently triple up to and including a 1.00 and double up to and including 2.00, for only a certain amount of days out of the week usually fri, sat, sun and limit of 10. you have to catch those deals though.
ottawa il krgers only doubles upto the first .50 and then only 2 of the same coupon so you have to do seperate trans.

Weis and Giant in PA double, but only up to a dollar.
These are in Southeastern Pa in the Reading/Allentown areas.
In Cincinnati:
Both Kroger and Bigg's / Remke doubles unlited qty up to $1.00, no overage. I did have one time I had 20 of same coupon and only the first 14 doubled. The cashier corrected it once it was pointed out.
Meijer will double up to $1.00, no overage on the first 2 "similar" coupons. The coupons do NOT have to be exactly the same. Most times multiple transactions are the better deal.
Kroger's in Ohio only double up to .50 cents, and they will not honor a coupon if a coupon has been selected on the E-coupon Kroger website.
In central NH, Shaw's will double coupons under $1.00.
We are in southern NH and are surrounded by Market Basket, Stop & Shop, Hannaford, and Shaw's...and I believe Shaw's is the only one that doubles coupons.
In Minnesota:
Rainbow Foods will double on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
$1 or under with a 5 coupon limit and an additional $25 purchase.
I live in the New London/Waterford area in Connecticut. Shoprite and Stop and shop double coupons up to .99.
Wegmans :) doubles up to $.99 in all of New York except Johnson City, at all stores in Virgina, Maryland and New Jersey. Doubling depends on area in PA.

Krogers in Mt. Vernon, Ohio doubles up to 99 cents, and they also have triple coupon days occasionally.
I believe ROche bros in the Boston area doubles coupons on tuesday,
Ridley's in Orem, UT doubles on Tuesday's up to $1.00 and now all Utah County Walmarts double on Tuesday's up to $1.00 too, but no price matching and doubling there, it has to be one or the other.

Priceco will but only on Fri, Sat and Sun ten coupons up to 1.00
What a wonderful idea. We often travel in a motorhome and I'm always looking for bargains even then, so this would be great. Anyway, Shaws in NH & other NE states doubles coupons up to .99. They will double up to 6 of the same kind and they allow overage. Thanks.
AR - Springdale and surrounding area Harps grocery doubles up to 50 cent coupons.
In Charles Town, WV the Weis will double any coupon that is $.99 and below. Anything $1.00 and up is not doubled.
Bruno's Grocery Stores in Alabama double all manufacturer coupons up to fifty cents every day and senior citizens get 5% off their bill before coupons on Wednesdays.
Giant Eagle in Heath, Ohio doubles up to $0.99 and takes internet coupons and has never limited me on the number of "like" coupons in a transaction. Kroger's in Zanesville, Ohio is the same.
After reading the replies I can see that as I suspected it is a more common practice in midwest and New England states. Here in the West (I live in Utah) it doesn't happen much, we have Kroger's and they do it a couple of times a year for maybe a day or 2 and the only double up to $1.00 so if you have a coupon that is .75 it will only go up to a dollar not a dollar fifty. I used to live in Tampa and the only store that did double coupons was a store called Phar-Mor I think they even tripled! But they went out of business...Wonder why double coupons are more common in certain areas of the US?
In Michigan, the Kroger stores dbl up to $1.00; Meijer's will dbl up to 50cents.
Saginaw and Genesse county Kroger's are the only locations that double to $1. The rest are .50 up to 3 like coupons.
Waldbaums in Commack, NY and Stop & Shop in Smithtown, NY
In the Greater Cincinnati/Northern KY area, Meijer & Kroger will both double coupons up to $1.00.
Topeka, KS - Dillon's doubles coupons up to $1.00 every day. Hy-Vee doubles coupons on Tuesdays only, and some Tuesdays (depending on promotions) doubles ALL coupons up to $1 (i.e. $0.25=$1).
Kroger in Cedar Hill, TX doubles up to and including .50.
Vg's in Michigan doubles to 1.00, select krogers such as Howell and grand Blanc double to 1.00 also meijers doubles to .50 cents
Erie, PA -
Wegmans and Giant Eagle both double up to 99 cents
Jefferson City, MO; Gerbes (Krogers), Mosers and Schnucks all double everything up to the $0.50 coupons.
In San Diego, CA the only store I know of is Vons - they double up to $1.00.
Most Giant stores in PA will double your coupons up to 99 cents.
My shoprite stores also double but they will only double up to a dollar. So a 75 cent off coupon will only go up to a dollar.
STERLING HEIGHTS, MI They double up to .50 at Meijer and Kroger and VG'S and Oak Ridge double up to and including $1. but they limit the # to 3 and 2 like coupons.
