Some tips for shopping Walmart:
- Walmart’s prices vary by region, even by store within the same area, but generally they are reasonably close to the listed price.
- Walmart does accept Internet printable coupons. You may find it helpful to print out and carry a copy of the Walmart corporate coupon policy with you.
- Walmart will price match competitor’s ads on like items.
- The Walmart price guarantee policy is to give you $3 off the price the item scans for if it rings up for more than the shelf price. If the item is less than $3 you get it for FREE. One item per $3 discount.

Have you found any stellar bargains at Walmart lately? Please feel free to email me so I can share them (while giving you credit, of course)! Along the same lines, if you find a deal is no longer valid because the coupon has expired or reached its print limit, it’s very helpful if you let me know so I can keep it current. Thanks for your help!

I’m wondering if these deals would be the same at Walmart’s Neighborhood Market? I actually don’t really have a Walmart that close by. Just curious?
Tara Kuczykowski
Deanna, Walmart’s prices vary by region and even stores within a region. Generally they are close to the price I have listed but not always. My goal is to provide deals from a number of resources so that there’s something for everyone!
rebecca
On coupons.com (w/ all the kraft coupons), there was a coupon for $1/1 Kraft Shells and cheese or Macaroni and cheese deluxe.
These are $1.25 at our Walmart, making them only 25 cents each!!
Donna
I was told yesterday by the casier that they no longer accept Internet Coupons, but the policy says that they do, must all stores abide by the corporate policy?
Tara Kuczykowski
All stores are required to accept the Internet printable coupons per the corporate policy. I recommend contacting customer service about your issues and also carrying a copy of the policy with you.
Kristie
On the Febreze Noticeables…they are cheaper at Family Dollar. $4.50 – $4MQ= .50 instead of paying the .84 @ Walmart. =)
I found them on an end cap at my store and not on the shelf with the other air freshener items.
Emilie
My Kraft coupons were not accepted yesterday at Walmart. I was told they were fake, the website I printed them from was fake, and I was committing fraud. I told them it was their policy to accept internet printed coupons, and they told me they didn’t take them, and I was committing fraud. I’ve never been so humiliated! And, the coupons were printed directly from Kraft Foods powered by http://www.coupons.com.

I hate to sound dumb, but where is the Teal Quick Print? I don’t see it.
Tara Kuczykowski
It’s okay, Linda. It’s in the far right sidebar under the printable coupons header!
Linda
It’s funny. I see the link on this computer but, didn’t when I asked the questions from another computer.
Thank you!
Bianca Marshall
I don’t know if I’m looking at the wrong coupon but my Pace Salsa coupon is $1/1 hmmmm…?
cheri
Bar S Franks $1 for bun length, or .88 for jumbo franks (pkg has to be 16 oz. or larger). Use the 05/10/09RP Q for $1/2 – makes them $.50/pkg for bun length, or $.38/pkg for jumbos.

I have had ALOT of issues with Walmart as well. With a huge line behind me, they called a customer service person over who told me that “you people trying to come in here and use these internet coupons are really getting on my nerves”. She then went through all the coupons I gave her including manufactures coupons with a fine tooth comb. She told all the people in line that she was sorry, but I was going to hold up the line. I got so mad I called store management and told then and he told me he just couldn’t imagine his employees acting that way. I suspected the next time would go better and it was just as bad! They try to humiliate you into not using coupons! It isn’t coming out of their pay check and as the manager told me when I called, the store gets reimbursed for the amount of the coupon from the manufacturer…..but I still have issues everytime. I make sure that they are not expired and I am using it on the exact item listed, no funny business!
Linda
I don’t see the printable coupons for this:
Oscar Mayer Light Hot Dogs, $1.50
$1/2 printable
$1/2 printable Teal Quick Print on Right Sidebar
$1 after coupon!
When I click on either of these links, I find no hot dog coupons. Can anyone help me find them??
Thanks!!
Tara Kuczykowski
It looks like it’s no longer on there right now, but you can still find it at this link.

Can someone tell me what the “V” stands for on this coupon?
$0.75/1 McCormick Spice or Herb, exp. 6-30-09 (V 4/5/09)
I’m familiar with Smart Source, Red Plum, etc but, I don’t know this one. Sorry for all the questions!
Tara Kuczykowski
Linda, V is Valassis – just another name for RedPlum. Hope that helps!
Linda
Thanks, Tara!

I too had the same experience at Walmart!!!They told me that there was a new Walmart coupon policy. But I found out from a different Walmart that their is not!! I called the manager and he did nothing..I just could not take it,Us couponer work hard to save money for our family. So I wrote a e-mail to corp. and I called the district manager for our store. It took about one hour and the store manager called me right and told me how sorry he was…I am invited to come to our store and show him the coupons I have and show him how they work, so he can can inform his employees. YEA !!YEA!!!So hang in there!!!

Girls, it isn’t just you or the fact that the coupons were internet and printed…WALMART here in Cincinnati (Mason) is almost always a pain in the rear when it comes to coupons. They are downright rude. I go very late at night, usually after midnight, to avoid the crowds and because I am handicapped and need one of those little scooter carts…which you can never get during the daytime. And since we have a large family–5 kids–we buy a lot of stuff. Most things I buy will have a coupon. So I get up to the register and hand them a stack of coupons…and almost always there is a problem. I have even had the “manager” go through all of my bags to make sure I ACTUALLY BOUGHT the said item. Then, after being humiliated, my husband and I go to leave with our carts and the “door greeter” (read: security) stops us on the way out and scrutinizes our purchases, rummaging thru our bags. I could understand it if we had a tv in the cart, but come on! I have defrosted veggies by the time I can get out to the car. It’s unacceptable but Walmart won’t do a thing about it. I have called management. It goes nowhere. I guess they figure if we don’t like it, we won’t be back with our coupons.

Hey guys! I’m very sorry about all of your problems @ Wal-Mart but hopefully I can clarify some things being a Wal-Mart customer service rep… As for coupons YES we take any and ALL coupons unless it is a coupon from another store (ie: food lion). As for internet coupons we do accept ALL legitamite internet coupons as long as they are not photocopied. I know sometimes it is hard to tell if they have been copied but the general rule of thumb for internet coupons is if they are legitimate each one will have a different set of numbers at the top under the bar code that we do not scan. As for fraudulent coupons the only ones we are aware of at this point is a Kraft coupon for a free 1lb. block of velveeta cheese and one for a free roll of reynolds wrap. We have been told by the COMPANIES that these coupons were made and distributed fraudulently. Hopefully that being said it will give you a little better bargaining insight next time someone gives you problems. And if not and you feel like something should be done that store management isn’t doing call our store hotline @ 800-WAL-Mart.
They ALWAYS get the job done!!
