I had the same problem yesterday with a $10 butterball coupon. It would not scan and the csm even tried to put my order in again with her inputting the coupon price. They were nice but no go on the coupon. I did call corporate yesterday and was supposed to get a response within 24 hours. No call yet.

Ugh I hate Walmart. They always try to find a problem with the coupons I'm using or price matching! Cashier tried to tell me that I cannot use a coupon for Kotex pads because it's different than on the picture. Hello, it says ANY KIND with Kotex brand, since when they look at the oicture when it comes to coupons! I guess she cant read! She wouldn't even scan it! I also showed her a reciept from a different walmart that they accepted those coupons for the same exact pads and she said all Walmarts are different. How??? Because only someone like you work there who makes up their own policies???And she asked me for coupons before she even started scanning anything, I've never had this happen before. I double checked all my coupons before I go shopping so I know it works. I never had a problem at a different Walmart, just the one by my house! I guess you also need to go to someone who looks like a nice person and not someone who doesn't appreciate her job and gives attitude to people. Target is my favorite store, never have any problems and if coupons don't scan, they simply punch it in.

Wal-Mart is notorious for bullying people AFTER they have ran the local stores in small towns like ours out of business; knowing that people have to drive an extra 20-30 miles out of their way to find another place to shop. I have been told that I couldn’t use “internet” coupons, and had innuendos that they were “fraudulent”. I have also had other problems with Wal-Mart in the past. Quite frankly their business practices are unfair in a lot of respects. Managers seem to do as they please, no two stores being alike. I have also been warned that Wal-Mart isn’t the only store that has issues with coupons. Print a copy of the stores policy and take it with you! Also you may want to write letters to some of the product companies and see if they can put pressure on the stores to honor their coupons. Although it burns me to spend more for a product at another store, it burns me even more to spend any of my money in a store that has such a bad record. I avoid them if I can.

walmart price match stinks. i have in the past gotten bogo"s with no ad or questons asked. Tonight i go in and tell the cashier I have bogo's she needs to see the ad for each item. Then she tells me she has to charge me that stores price to get the bogo. WHAT ??? so if walmart has breyers ice cream for 3.28 and Publix sells it for 6.99 and its a bogo. she was charging me 3.50 each. I had a buggy full og groceries and walked out, they have always given me their price and then the bogo. am i miss understanding something ? i should just shop and Publix then and I can use my publix dollar off coupons .

Most stores will not accept PDF coupons because it's too easy to alter them. Where did you find the $5 off Nature Made coupon? I'm not aware of such a high value coupon being available, and it could very well be a counterfeit coupon. :(

Does Walmart honor PDF coupons? I also ran into a problem the other day. I had a internet $5.00 off a Nature Made product and it would not scan on their computer. I was told if it would not scan they would not accept it by the CSM. I then took the same coupon to Target, it scanned there but came up as a $1.00 off. I alerted the checker and she corrected it on the spot no further questions asked. I am running into more and more problems with Walmart which is making me ultimately to choose NOT to shop Walmart anymore. Anyone else having trouble like this?

I complained so much about my whole experience with couponing at any of the walmarts. Quickly a District Mgr contacted me about it. I told him that I will not be shopping at Walmart anymore since their cashiers are uneducated with coupons policies and customer service. I got held up on a transaction for an AD match...I tried to explain to the cashier that there was no purchase limit on the item just for the deal the other store had that involved a gift card....she proceeded to call a CSM then had them read the other stores AD and look over coupon, The cashier looks at the CSM and says but after the coupons she's only going to pay 1.50 for these....that sent me over the edge. I just grabbed my coupons back and left the store. They can keep there $20 gift card I was offered...I'd probably get questioned for using it with coupons anyway.

I coupon per item, otherwise we could go around redeeming as many coupons as possible on ONE item thus racking up free stuff. Make sense?

My Walmart in Illinois takes the Target coupons by taking that amount off via a price match. Then I can also use a manufacturer coupon for same item. It was a teller who told me it was the way to do it and so far it has worked. All I have to say to the teller I is that others have taken off as a price match and they are whipping out their calculators and changing the price for me. Hope this will work for you! As others have said, chat with the teller as you are loading your items. Being friendly and cheerful usually gets any transaction problems easily corrected here in the Midwest.

YES!!! I had a big issue with this and tried to educate the managers who were telling me that per purchase means per transaction. I gave them several examples to contradict that, but they were so close-minded about it so I sent an email to walmart online to get it cleared up. They sent my email to that store in which the ASM just called me awhile ago to say the same thing the others did. He told me I was trying to split hairs and that I was reading the coupon wrong!! I couldn't believe it. I informed him the I had no trouble at the other Wal-Mart in town and that the manager over there said I was correct. I asked him "So if I have a large order and have 10 like items with 10 valid coupons, you want me to hold up the line to have 10 different transactions and pay that many times even though your system will accept them all at once like every other store I know?" He said yes, only one coupon per like item. Ugh... I don't have time to do that, nor am I inconsiderate enough to the customers waiting in line behind me to do that to them. I will not be shopping there anymore, they are making this way too difficult. My problem is, why isn't the coupon policy the same across all the stores? The managers seem to be making up their own procedures to what they deem is right and correct. I wrote corporate to get a response from them, NOT the store I had the issue with. :(

I shop Walmart all the time when I am price-matching and have NEVER encountered this problem. I have used different Walmart's in different areas and NEVER an issue. I have never had to provide my coupons upfront. I have a binder and list and section out my purchases for them. Before I pay I give them all my coupons. I have even had a cashier send me to the Customer Service desk once when I forgot to give them a few coupons and got the price of the coupons back in cash. That was AWESOME!!! I think that you got a "Betty by the Book" cashier who was not having a good day! Next time try someone else. Talk to them as you are placing your items on the belt. it is a distraction, but it works. Good Luck!

some people are just lacking of knowledge regarding coupon policies. It takes time, but ask for a manager and show them that it says limit 4 like coupons, because they read limit one per purchase and they think that's all it says. I've had this problem couple of times... there are coupons that say limit 1 coupon per visit too though, so double check your coupons as well.

some people are just lacking of knowledge regarding coupon policies. It takes time, but ask for a manager and show them that it says limit 4 like coupons, because they read limit one per purchase and they think that's all it says. I've had this problem couple of times... there are coupons that say limit 1 coupon per visit too though, so double check your coupons as well.

You can only use coupons from other competitors if it states a dollar amount and it has to be the exact brand name. If it's a percentage it will not be accepted.
