Walgreens: Olay Regenerist Cleansers Moneymaker

by Tara Kuczykowski on December 15, 2008 · 13 comments

olayregeneristI just wanted to call your attention to this great deal left in the comments for the Walgreens deals this week.

Laina from Abundant Food Savings shared that there is an awesome $15 Oil of Olay mail-in rebate available currently. You'll receive a $15 gift card when you purchase any two Olay Regenerist cleansers or moisturizers between 12/14/08 and 1/14/09. Limited to one $15 gift card per customer name, address, or envelope.

Olay Regenerist Cleansers are $7.49 at Walgreens. Pair two of these up with the $5/2 Olay Regenerist Facial Cleansers coupon from the 12/14/08 P&G insert, earning you $5.02 after the mail-in rebate! Also, as Kristy pointed out in the comments, if you ask them to print the receipt twice, you can use this towards your $50 for the P&G Coupons offer.

Special thanks to Mercedes at Common Sense with Money for confirming that the buy one get one 50% off sale isn't valid on the cleansers.

The Olay Regenerist Cleansers are also buy one get one 50% off. So it is an even better deal. Earning you 8.76.

If you ask to have your receipt printed twice you can use that for your P&G $50 as well.

Chantel, Mercedes at Common Sense with Money did the deal yesterday, and the cleansers didn't ring up at buy one get one 50% off. Did you have a different experience?

Thanks for pointing that out, Kristy. I meant to include that in my post, and I'll go update it now!

My question is about the $50.00in P & G products. Do these all have to be on one receipt? I read the terms and conditions but it was very unclear. Thanks

Good question, Tassie. I read on another site that someone called them, and you can submit multiple receipts.

Thanks for the shout out Tara. I also wanted to share the comment left by one of my readers. You can but the $9.99 cleansers and because those are included in the sale you spend the same out of pocket than if you bought the cheaper ones. The deal is still a moneymaker either way.

From reading the Slickdeals forum, it looks like someone called and found out that the $15 GC is good on Olay products only...has anyone else verified/confirmed this?

What about how the total for 2 only comes to $14.98? Do they count it after tax or before?

I have not heard anything regarding that, Linda. Please update us if you find out!

Kristin, the form doesn't specify a dollar amount. It states that you must buy a combination of 2 Olay cleansers or moisturizers.

The Olay cleansers ARE BOGO 50% off at Walgreens IF you buy the ones that are regular retail $9.99 or higher, not the $7.49 ones (the lowest qualifying items are the $9.99 Reginerist cleansing cloths). With the $5.00 off 2 cleansers coupon, your OOP is 9.99 + tax , so 5.01 profit after MIR

Maybe I missed something but where can I find the "$5/2 Olay Regenerist Facial Cleansers coupon from the 12/14/08 P&G insert". I can't find this coupon.

12 Deal Seeking Mom December 17, 2008 at 10:32 am

Thanks, Nicole! The deal works out to the same price either way, so I guess it just depends on which cleanser you prefer.

Emily, the coupon is on the back of the insert. The full wording is Save $5 on any ONE (1) Olay Regenerist Moisturizer or any TWO (2) Olay Regenerist Facial Cleansers. Hope that helps!
