So, I’m new to couponing… What are register rewards and how do I get them? So this deal requires no coupons? Thanks!
Ta-Tanisha
If you have a coupon , it help’s with your order …. but after you pay for your Items then the register will print the $3.00 Register reward out and you can you that on your next shopping trip
Maryalene
Laura,
Register Rewards are a custom coupon that will print at the register automatically when you make a specific purchase. They are coupons that can be used on your next purchase at Walgreens.
For this deal, you do need to have coupons for it to work as shown above. You’ll need the $2/1 Gain Powder coupon that was in the Smart Source coupon insert from the 9/11 newspaper. Then you’ll need the 50cents/1 coupon for the dishwashing liquid from the 8/14 Red Plum newspaper insert. If you can find two of each coupon, that will give you the best deal.
Hope this helps!
Maryalene
P.S. Thanks for the deal Tara! Wish I used powder soap. It looks like the liquid is on sale too…just not nearly as good a deal. :-(
Maryalene
Er…whoops, mistyped there…you only need one of the powder detergent coupons and two of the dish liquid ones.

Thanks so much!

Are we supposed to do this all in one transaction, or seperate? Walgreens deals kind of confuse me, lol. Thanks
Lakebreeze
You need to do it one transaction, otherwise you won’t receive the RR. Good luck!

I bought 1 bottle of Gain ($5) and two bottles of dish detergent ($1.99 ea) using $.50 off 1 detergent and $2/1 Gain detergent MFQ and received one Register Reward for $3 and one Manufacturer Catalina for $3…..cashier was surprised that they printed….glad I got this one!

I bought 4 bugles, 1 chex, 6 32 load Gain, 4 box raisin brain, on 12 pk diet coke and three tomato sauces. The total was 57 dollars then I gave her the coupons and the price went down to 38 bucks, gave them 12 register rewards and paid 26 dollars. In return I got one ten dollar RR, a 3 dollar RR and a manufacturer RR. Replace all my used RR and leaving me with 4 more. I paid around 21-22 dollars for all.

I think I must be doing something wrong when I went there Sunday. My understanding is that you can’t have more coupons including RR’s than items. So how do you spend your RR’s and still use coupons?!?
Jennifer
You have to buy a “filler”. One item that you don’t have a coupon for. So find a very cheap item or something you truly need and don’t have a coupon for.

Jenny, one thing I,be learned from this sight is that use the res first then the coupons. It had happened to me. Something to do about adjusting the coupons to match the price.

I did this deal this morning, but only got 1 RR back :( But at least I still got all 3 products at a decent price!!!!
christy
I only got one re too :( disappointing

Jenny use rrs first and then coupons. Walgreen does it to me everytime, spoke to manager and she explained it to me yesterday. Good luck
Jennifer
Really? I thought you had to buy an item without a coupon. Like a filler. I can’t believe my Wags never clued me in to this. So I can have a coupon for every item and use my RR first and it will work?
April
Yeah, is that what you are saying? I can use my RRs first then give them my qs & I won’t have to have filler items? What they had told me was one Q/RR per item, so when I use a Walgreens Q or RRs I always get filler items to even out the transaction. Of course I usually have my kids with me & they always want something LOL, so it works out okay,we will just get candy that is onsale or something.

Thats what walgreens used to do to me all the time until I looked into it. Example : item costs $4.99 you use a $3.00 rr then your left with $1.99 and you have a $1.00 walgreens q leaving $.99 use a manufacturers $1.00 q which the store adjusts down to $.99 leaving the golden $0.00 balance , no fillers. Learned it all from D.S.M
Robin
Is the dish liquid an unadvertsed deal? It isn’t listed in my Walgreens ad.
Angel B
Robin, the Dish soap is normal price. :)
Amy
I don’t see anything in my sales flyer about any gain products and rr deals. I know DSM is out of OH, and I am in NC, but usually Walgreen rr deals are always the same. Is this advertised in ya’lls flyers? (That was a little southern slang added for your enjoyment.)
Stephanie
I have the same question as many above: Is this an unadvertised deal? Not in my ad. Thanks!
eM
Not advertised in the flyers here but I did get two $3 register rewards at 8:30 pm on Sept 12th.
I bought two Gain dishwashing detergents and one laundry soap. There was only one left!
