I just returned home from my local Wags. Hubby is sick and needed Nyquil for tonight, Dayquil for work in the AM. They're supposed to be on sale for 2/$9 and then if you have 2/$1.50 coupons you only pay $6 plus get a $3RR. Great deal BUT mine was even better... The Dayquil rang up with a sale price of $1.39!!! After my coupons and RR I made money.

So I figured out the problem. I have a short 8 page ad. I found an ad scan online and it appears that others received a different ad than we here in Michigan. I'm bummed -- really, really bummed. CVS did that to us a few times last year too.

Shannon, my ad doesn't show the Sense & Spray for $4.99. The only Glade in my ad is $3.99 for 2 pack Plugin Refill or a 4 oz. candle and you get $1 RR. I asked the cashier to price check the Sense & Spray and it was ringing up for $10.99. My ad also doesn't show the 2/$8 P&G products, the Dial Soap, the Blistex, or the Dove Chocolate Minis. I live in Michigan.

I used my HE coupon today. I got 1 shampoo & 1 styler. I used both the FREE Shampoo coupon & the FREE styler wyb coupon. I got them BOTH Free & also the RR for $2.00. Yeah!

Donna - are you sure they weren't on sale, and not posted right on the shelves? My Walgreens hardly ever has all of their stickers out on Sunday morning. Most of the stuff I bought today didn't have the right stickers on the shelves. Even though the shelf prices weren't correct today everything rang up correctly. I say as long as the ad they have in the store shows the sale you should be safe. If their ad doesn't show the sale maybe it's just a regional ad...?

I'm so bummed. I have five $4.00 Glade Sense & Spray coupons -- but they're not on sale at my Walgreen's. What gives? This happened last week with the Softsoap pump and refill. I get to the store only to find that not all the sale items are the same.

Shannon yes the register does know when a manufacturer coupon is good for 1.oo/3. So if you buy 3 cans and use 1.00/3 manu. coupon. You can not use any register rewards with those 3 cans. I work at walgreens and alot of ppl have that problem. I always tell them to try a small filler item.

Lately I've been caught off guard by the register beep and I'm wondering if anyone can help me out. Today I had 7 items and 6 manufacturer coupons (including RR's) and it beeped on the 6th coupon. Once I added a 10 cent item it let me use the last one. The subtotal was well over the coupon total. My thought is this: maybe the Hunt's manufacturer Q ($1/3) is counting as 3 coupons? I can't think of any other reason for this problem (and this isn't the first time...) TIA!
