Walgreens Children's Activity Book Coupons
A number of you have inquired about the Walgreens Children's Activity Books I mentioned in the Walgreens Weekly Deals post for this week. These activity books are generally located near the pharmacy counter or with the other children's coloring books and contain a whole page of Walgreens store coupons!

Priced at just $0.99, they're worth the money to receive these coupons:

  • $2/1 Band-Aids
  • $5/1 Braun ThermoScan
  • $1/1 Children’s Benadryl
  • $1/1 Crayola Color Explosion or Color Wonder
  • $1/1 Flavored Tylenol
  • $1/1 Gerber Tooth & Gum Cleaner
  • $1/1 Huggies Diapers or Pull-Ups
  • $2/1 Little Critters Gummy Vites
  • $1/1 Listerine Agent Cool Blue or Smart Rinse
  • $2/1 Neosporin Product
  • $1/1 Children's Tylenol
  • $0.50/1 Walgreens Children’s Ibuprofen
  • $0.50/1 Walgreens Children’s Wal-Dryl or Wal-Zyr
  • $1/1 Zooth or Oral-B Licensed Character Toothbrushes

These coupons don't expire until 3/30/10!

Just an FYI, these coupons have to be given to the cashier at the time of your purchase, unlike other Wags coupons. Boy was I embarrassed trying to cut it out of the coloring book when I was buying my Neosporan :) They do however work like other Wags coupons and take off the $ amount for as many of those items as you are buying. So you don't have to have 4 coupons when you buy 4 Neosporans in the same transaction, the one coupon will apply to all of them. Hope this helps someone.

Thanks for the info. Does anyone know anything about the McDonalds coupon books I heard of for $1? Went to my McDonalds and they didn't know what I was talking about.

I used the Listerine coupon stacked, I purchased 2 agent blue with a 1/1 & B1G1 manufacture coupons along with the walgreens coupon and it rang up as 2.00 not one. Two bottles for 1.00 and 3.00 in RR, Yes!

If you can't find them in your store, check out the summer clearance rack. I found a big pile at my store (in the Dallas area) for 24 cents each! With the dollar I was going to spend on one, I bought four! But I had to be careful - they were all mixed in with the old ones with expired coupons.

Are these MQs? or Wags Qs?

I can't find them anywhere! I have searched high and low in all three of my Walgreen's stores! They must be regional!?!?

Watch out for expired books. The picture on the front is different. I found these in two of my wags. Sometimes they take the coupons and sometimes don't.

I found these hanging in a clear plastic holder on the side of a display bin right next to the pharmacy window about 2 weeks ago. I've been to 2-3 Walgreens in the area and have only found them in 1 of them.

I finally found the Walgreens coloring books in the school supply aisle. I had asked at the pharmacy, but they didn't know what I was talking about. Thankfully, a cashier had others ask her about them earlier in the day, so I got one!

I sure wish I could find one. I have been to 6 different stores in my area and have not found it. And no one knows what I'm talking about.

We don't seem to have these in our area either. I've been to about a dozen stores - no luck.

I have several Walgreens stores in my area and all cashiers are just scanning the coupons or keying in the codes and I do not have to cut them out of the books. I have been using them over and over for 2 weeks now with no problems at all. I don't know if they are supposed to keep the coupons, but they haven't asked for them yet!!!

Jenny, it is Wag coupons (store coupons). I found a bunch of that coloring book by the toys/coloring books aisle at my store in Syracuse NY

i only bought one and found it in the coloring book place. they have a lot of good coupons.

You don't have to give these coupons up when you are checking out. They don't need them for redemption and will just toss them into the trash after scanning them. I just show them the whole sheet and they either scan them or type in the code. It can be very hard to find these books! They can be in with the other coloring books, near the pharmacy or at the front counter. I asked at one store and was told no we don't have those. When I went to check out there they were at the register!

I had asked at three stores, and no one knew what I was talking about. I finally printed out the image and took that with me. Once I showed a manager I wasn't making this up, he started digging. He finally found them - BEHIND the pharmacy counter.

I feel jipped, they made me hand mine over saying that since it wasn't an "in ad" coupon and they had to collect it:(

I had asked the pharmaist the other day and she FOUND them BEHIND the counter. You would think they would want to have them out for us to buy.

Walgreens' in Salisbury, NC (on Jake Alexander). After searching high and low through the store I asked at the Pharmacy and the cashier (she knew about them) handed me one from behind the counter and said they are not charging for them. I may go back and see if I can get another one or two. I'll let ya know and will be happy to give them away.
My question is can the coupons from the book be combined with manufacturer's coupons? I need some Benadryl to send to school for my daughter and am looking for a good deal. Thanks

I picked up another Children’s Activity Book w/coupons. I will give it to the first person who responds. Preferably to someone who was not able to find one.

re: McDonald's Coupon Book - I received one in the mail full of great coupons (it was addressed to me).

I've been looking and looking for these for weeks. I finally found about 6 of them, but flipping through them, I found that someone had ripped out all of the coupons in all of them! So disappointing!

I have looked in 6 Walgreens in both Maine and New Hampshire. Not one person knew what I was talking about! I finally found them in Augusta, Maine. There was two, right next to the pharmacy. I only bought one, being fair in case someone else was trying like I did! Another coupon booklet that was hard to find had the lady and two kids on the front cover. I found that one in Bath.

thank you SO much, I went to 3 walgreens!! the first thought i was crazy cause they never heard of the book, the second thought they had the book- but turns out it is VERY backordered, and the third had an outdated version of the book. at the third stop i told them i had the new UPCs if they can type them in and the manager went for it!! i am so happy i JUST got a new blackberry 2 days ago because i was able to open my email and let the cashier type in the numbers right from my phone!

I was rummaging through the holiday isle today while waiting for a prescription for my son when I saw a box of activity books. I remembered Tracy's post so I started looking through the box and low and behold, there they were, hiding in the box of HOLIDAY activity books. I bought one, and pulled the coupons out because i knew my 3yo would pull them out either way. I may go and buy a more this weekend.

To Elena in El Paso TX. By having the ar code numbers, will they take that in lieu of a coupon. Which Walgreen's are you going to? I would like to get the deal on the Neosporin but don't know where to get the coupons.

I am in Northwest Indiana and I can't find the books anywhere. Has anyone gave the coupon code to the cashier with success yet?

I had a manager try to enter the 0 00000 02030 5 coupon code for the neosporin but nothing came up. Does anyone else have a different barcode for the 2/1 neosporin?

Donna -

Did he try entering it without the first "0" and the "5" on the end? Might be that you do not need these numbers.

Just a thought.

To Donna -

I am also in Indiana, closer to TErre Haute though, and I also have had no luck whatsoever finding these books. I'm starting to think it's a regional thing. I've even looked in Indy when I"ve been up there, but have had no luck. if you find any, please let me know because maybe locally for me, they'll follow suit.

Since this is just a store coupon (and thus doesn't need to be sent to the manufacturer), I would think that if someone was willing to scan the coupons then we could just print them out.

I have tried to find this at 8 different stores :(

Please note that these coupons differ from other Walgreens coupons in that they clearly read "off regular retail" on them. I feel it would be against their intended use to use them on sale or Register Reward deals.
