Walgreens just released a new $5/$25 printable coupon good tomorrow, Thursday, July 16th, and Friday, July 17th!

(Thanks, Coupons, Deals and More!)

I think you can create some decent scenarios using this week's Walgreens deals!

Note the fine print: Purchase amount of $25 or more must be before taxes and after all manufacturer and Walgreens coupons and discounts. Limit one coupon per customer per offer.

Not all stores enforce the $25 total after coupons, but it pays to be aware of this beforehand!

You can also use code DELIGHT to get the same savings online. Be sure to shop through Cashbaq if you order online for 4% back on your purchase (plus a $5 bonus if you’re a new Cashbaq user!

At my Walgreens, if the total isn't $25 AFTER coupons, the Register will put the $5 back on. ughhh. :(

Here's a sceario
•2 Coppertone Nutrashields $21.98 - (2) $5 off I P = $11.98
•1 Speed stick or Lady Speed stick $2.49 - $1.50 = .99
•3 Reach toothbrushes $9 use one buy one get one from 4/26 Red plum and one $1 off from 6/14 = $5
•One Tilex or Formula 409 or Clorox cleaning product / wipes $2.99
•4 Kraft Mac & Cheese .69 cents w/ in ad coupon use B3 get one free from 6/28 Smart Source = $2.07
•4 Smart waters $4 use (2) $1 off 2 = $2
Total = $25.03 use $5 off $25 = $20.03 plus tax.
Get Back $10 Register Reward for Coppertone / $1 Register Reward for speed stick / $3 for Reach dental care items / $1 off cleaning product = $15 in rebates
Net Cost for all of the above = $5.03

The last time this coupon was available I used it and it wouldn't scan and since there are no numbers below the bar code the cashier would not allow it or do anything. That's never happened to me before. Is there anything more annoying than when you plan a trip out with coupons and deals to a T and than something like this happens?

I went to my local Walgreens just now and am not pleased. The cashier told me that if I use a coupon for a store rewards item, I won't get the reward. I can only use one or the other. Any suggestions or thoughts on this?

Shelley, the cashier is misinformed. I just did the Coppertone deal with two coupons, and I received my Register Rewards. Next time I'd just ask her nicely to give it a try, and hopefully that will be an educational experience for her. If not, then I'd call Walgreens customer service.
