With Walgreens coupons they send out emails to the stores when they post coupons like this one. They make it policy that the 5 off 25 has to be used after everything. And yes they threat register rewards like manf. coupons. So make sure you dont let your quanity of coupons exceed your # of items.

I've had that same problem with RRs before, but then I found out that since RRs count as manufacturer coupons, and the register won't allow more coupons than items, I needed to throw in a few filler items to make sure that my coupons didn't outnumber my items. I usually just grab some tic-tacs or something by the register.

How about if you use it to get one of the meters that have a full refund rebate on them? I guess you will need to get something else as well as they are $19.99 or $9.99.

last time walgreens did this i handed the casheir this coupon first and then all the other coupons and register rewards without an issue. probably jsut depends on which cashier you get that day.

I walked out of Walgreens the other day because of coupons. I have $3 reg rewards that expired that day. Well I went in to get 4 things, would have been more but of course they were out of stock. I had the reg rewards plus a coupons for every item. They would not let me use the reg rewards even tho they were expiring. I was told "Well they really don't expire". I walked out without anything. Guess what...what I went to go use the reg rewards a few days later.....I was told....they are expired! Im pretty much done with Walgreens. The easy saver stuff....I only got back about 1 in every 4th check!

Yes, I've used these coupons before and the cashier would not take the $5/25 coupon until the very end. I've used them in the past to buy items that had Register Rewards or rebates back in the day of the EasySaver catalog. The Register Rewards count as coupons not as giftcards, so the total has to be $25 after any Register Rewards are taken off. Kristi´s last blog post..Join Lightspeed Panel

I used this last time and was not aware the MFR coupons took the total down. Didn't end up being a very good deal for me. I had 2 $3 off diaper coupons so had to come up with $6 of things that didn't expect to purchase. I'll plan better if I decide to take part again.

Wags $/$$ coupons confuse me. If the total has to be $25 after all coupons then it doesn't sound like a very good deal to me. It would be awesome if I could use one with 2 of the $10 RR I got from the meter deal and bring the total down to $0. lol

And what if your total is $25 and you hand over the $5/25 first, THEN a couple $10 RRs. Will the cash register beep? Will they be refused? Anyone have experience in this area?
