Walgreens $10 off $40 Coupon, Good 9/12 and 9/13

by Tara Kuczykowski on September 11, 2008 · 10 comments

As if the deals weren't hot enough this week, now you can use this $10/$40 Walgreens coupon to stretch your savings even more on Friday, September 12th and Saturday, September 13th! You should be able to put together some awesome scenarios between the Walgreens weekly deals and monthly deals.

Like the recent $5/$20 coupons, the terms and conditions state that your subtotal must include all other discounts and coupons to qualify. So after all of your manufacturer coupons and any other Walgreens store coupons, your subtotal must be $40 or greater to use the coupon.

I'll be back later with a money-making scenario to use this coupon!

ETA: Scenario is up! Check it out here!!!

Are there any other restrictions for using this coupon? This will be my first time!
Thanks

I have alot of questions about that coupon as well. Another site said that Register Rewards are manufacturer coupons and will not count towards the $40 total so even though we consider it as payment, Walgreens is treating it as a coupon. Does anybody know how the RRs are treated?

Sarah, the usual restrictions are printed on the coupon. The main one to be aware of is that your total must be $40 after all coupons are deducted.

Anon, I've not heard that Register Rewards are processed that way. Perhaps someone else will come along that can answer this!

I too am finding that my Register Rewards print out on my receipt as a manufacturer's coupon. I've been filling in the order with something inexpensive so I don't have more coupons than items. Otherwise I've had problems. I also had a manager tell me no more BOGO coupons on items already on sale as BOGO's!!!!! I've contacted corporate but still no response. They also say no more multiple identical coupons at 2 of my 3 local stores They suggested I
"bring a friend to shop and divide the order if using coupons for every item." That stinks,as so many RR require items purchased in multiples on one order to get them.
Are my stores just coupon haters or are others having this problem also?
