LOL>... I have had a Upromise account since 2001 and totally forgot about it... kicking myself now! I do have $27 in there saving for my son's education! LOL... but now, I have another son (born in June). Better ramp up the college fund! I updated my card info, since those are now obsolete! Anyone getting some good savings with Upromise?

It's a program where you register your grocery, debit, or credit cards and earn money for your kid's school. I use it with my Vons club card.

I have Kroger, Meijer, and CVS cards but the only card that ever deposits money into my account when I use the ecoupons is CVS.... I checked the numbers and everything. Anybody else ever have this problem? Some of this was months ago..

Rebecca, you won't see the savings come off your total. Instead they are deposited into a savings account for college. The good thing about this is that you can use manufacturer coupons along with them for extra savings. Yes, you can absolutely use the funds for your own education.

I'm a little confused how this works. Do these "coupons" take money off my stubtotal as well as putting x amount into my "college fund"...or do they not take any money off the total, they just put x amount into the college fund. What if I don't have any kids...can it just go into "my college fund"? Thanks.
