Turbo Tax: FREE Tax Filing

by Tara Kuczykowski on January 29, 2010 · 6 comments

It's that time of year -- if you haven't already received all of your W2s or W9s, you should have them in hand in the next week or so.

If you want to be ahead of the game, Turbo Tax is offering a FREE download of their Federal Edition tax filing software! If you file a simple 1040EZ return, you'll be able to prepare and efile your federal taxes absolutely FREE.

I've used Turbo Tax for the past several years to file our taxes, and I've found it to be very simple and user friendly.

Just click here to download your free tax filing software!

Thanks, Passion For Savings!

Is it just me or is the link not working for anyone? I can't get it to work.

It just worked for me, Carrie. It did take a little longer than usual to load though.

Just tried to file an extension at Turbo Tax's website. In Google Chrome, it was free. With any other browser, it was 9.95. Had to disable the 'block 3rd party cookies' option in Chrome to get the site to work, but everything went well after that.

Thought any last-minute filiers among your readers might want to know. :)
