Hasbro Games Deal
Toys R Us has a smokin' hot deal on Hasbro Games this week. There are seven different games priced at $3.99, and Toys R Us is offering a $10 gift card when you purchase $25. Plus you can use these $2 Hasbro rebates available as well!

  • Ants in Pants
  • Candy Land
  • Cootie
  • Chutes and Ladders
  • Don’t Break The Ice

Buy one of each $3.99 Hasbro Game = $27.93
Get $10 gift card wyb $25
Get $14 Hasbro Mail-In Rebate
Makes each game just $0.57 after gift card and MIR!

Note that the sale is only valid on the standard versions of the games. Character versions like Dora the Explorer, etc., will ring up at a higher price point.

There are also a number of games priced at $7.99 and $9.99, some of which have $3 rebates that you could add to the deal at a higher out of pocket cost.

$7.99 Hasbro Games:

Couldn't you use this to price match @Target?

You could; however, the Hasbro MIR is only valid on purchases made at Toys R Us.

Thank you! I made my boys huge Thomas the Tank Engine stockings a couple of years ago, and it's always difficult (and usually costly) to fill them. This should really help with that!

I just got back from TRU and some of the character games are included in the sale. They had a big pallet with the qualifying games. The MIR form was hanging on a shelf - it's a yellow tearpad.

Lindsey, make sure you have the most current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. The form is a PDF. Or you can pick up a form in the stores. As Cathy mentioned above, there are tearpads in the game aisle.

I seen on the rebate form was Elefun. Does anyone remember if the Elefun coupon is expired?

I also forgot to ask does TRU take internet printable coupons?

Reply

Awesome deal!! Thank you! :)
FYI: we have tried 2 different Elefun games and neither of them worked...I used brand new batteries and the butterflies wouldn't fly out of the nose. I'm not sure if anyone else has had good luck with it?!?!

Just a heads up the character games may be on sale but they would qualify for the rebate, it says the rebate is only could for specific games shown and All versions of memory

17 Erika November 8, 2009 at 4:44 pm

Sorry I meant to say that it wouldn't qualify

How would the rebates work for more than one game if they are all on the same receipt? Will TRU do more than one rebate? And on the same receipt?

Just got back from Toys R Us it was a mad house at mine here near Detroit. However I got the games for $3.99 I bought 7 of them... a couple even had $2 off peelies on them like Hi Ho Cherrio. My cashier was new tried telling me I couldn't use the coupons on sales... but in the end all turned out ok when somebody helped her out. I got 7 games for less then .27 cents each.

Girl you Rock! Thanks again for the awesome deal heads up. That one wasn't in the big toy book ad so you'd only know if you happened to go there. I just stocked up on 7 games for $14 after rebates plus the $10 gift card that I'll probably use as a supplemental Christmas gift too! wooo!

Thanks for posting this! I just got back from TRU stocked full of games!
Just a note about the gift card you receive - it isn't valid until 6 hours after your purchase. I tried to turn around and have my husband buy a sit and spin toy with the gift card but the card won't work until 5pm tonight.
Wish I would have had some extra coupons for these too, with our 9.5% tax rate it ended up being $.94 each for me, but still an excellent deal! 7 Christmas gifts for under $7!

Just got back from Target, our TRU is to far away. I saved $23 w/price matching. Just so u know they don't do it @ the register you have to go to CS. My credit of $23 was on a GC. Oh, well I'm positive I will spend on Christmas stuff.

My TRU on the memory game, they all rang up at 3.99 so I stocked up. I do daycare and these will be great xmas gifts for the kids.

This deal is awesome! My daughter has most of these games, but a few she doesn't have yet. The rest of them I will probably throw them straight into the charity bin when I leave the store.

Jennifer did you have to present an ad to price match @ Target? Also I had seen on the rebate form Girafalaff Limbo and I know there is a Target Coupon for this game also. HTH

Do you need a coupon for the $10 gift card for $25 purchase?

If you do price match at Target, will Target give you the 10.00 gift card?? I also have 5.00 coupons, can these also be applied?

I'm bummed! I just realized this is In-Store only. We do not have a Toys-R-Us near us. The closest one is an hour drive away. Well, still a good deal with the sale and the rebate.

Kelsea- where did you get the $5 off/$25 coupon? Thank you!

My TRU wouldn't give a giftcard unless I bought the Hasbro-labeled games. So, even though Milton Bradley is owned and made by Hasbro, they said no. I'm not sure why my store wouldn't honor the deal when everyone elses seem to be, but I was disappointed after making the 30 minute drive :(

OMG...
I cannot believe I have missed this! I do not have a newspaper so I do not get ads in my mailbox. On the website of toys RU I cannot find their ads. Is there any way I can see there ads?
Is this action: $3.99 Hasbro games still going on?
Thanks

Has anybody actually received the rebate yet. I did this when it first came out on November and I have not heard anything from Hasbro so far.

Reina... Glad you received your rebate. I'm still waiting... I mailed my paperwork in November, wrote Hasbro in January asking about the rebate, and still haven't received it. Frustrating!

the way they do the free gift cards is really stupid and will never take part in this promotion there.

I sent my mail-in-rebate on 1st April 2010. It has been more than 6 weeks and I have yet to see my rebate. I don't think Hasbro is sending these checks.

The Toys R Us website does not indicate that the Hasbro games listed on this webiste for $3.99 are in fact $3.99, nor is the $10 gift card shown as a bonus. Where can I purchase these Hasbro games for .57 each (after mail in rebates and the $10.00 gift card?

Anne, this post is from 2009, so the offer was slightly different this year. Unfortunately, it seems that TRU has already pulled it:
