Toy Story and Toy Story 2 will be rereleased as a DVD/Blu-ray combo pack on Tuesday, March 23rd. I'm not sure if we'll be seeing any rebates for them, but there are two new coupons available to save $5 on each!
- $5/1 Toy Story Special Edition DVD/Blu-ray printable
- $5/1 Toy Story 2 Special Edition DVD/Blu-ray printable
Has anyone seen what these will be priced at?
Thanks, Krazy Coupon Lady!

Target has TS 2 listed at 24.99
The Toy Story 2 one is not showing up. :( Just the Canada one. I'm looking forward to buying these for my kids!
Now it's showing up for me! So excited to get a good deal on these next week!
The Toy Story 2 US coupon was the last one to pop up. It wasn't there at first, but it's now available for print! Yahoo!
I love all these Blu-ray coupons lately! I am so ready to get rid of the VHS tapes!
Do you know if there will be coupons just for the DVD as we haven't gone Blue Ray yet?
Margaret, no worry you get both in the combo pack!!
Man, the question is, should I get the blu ray combo pack even if I already own the vhs and dvd?
Well, if it is one of those great deals like Princess and the Frog I just might have too. Keep us informed about any rebates :)
Thanks!
Right now, I don't see either coupon on the link - are they gone already?
Walmart can pre-order both...online but there are no places for coupon codes. No word about in-store prices just yet!
Can't see either of the coupons. :(
Hi! I know this is off the subject but can anyone tell me if the ING Direct checking account is still available with the $121 rebate? And if so where do I find the code. Thanks.
Tara, I love this site. Thanks so much for all you do!!
TRU has a special going on where if you pre-order both you also get $15 off another Disney movie and then when you go to pick them up they will be taking another $10 off for buying both together (Target is also doing the get $10 off if buying both). I also have the $8 coupons to upgrade to blu ray from the DVD (go to http://www.disneyupgrade2blu.com), so I'll be getting a pretty good deal =)
For the $15 off I got Cars, then they had a $5 off special (no idea why as it wasn't advertised), and I had a $8 off upgrade coupon, so I got the movie for FREE! ($24.99-$15.00-$5.00-$5.00= FREE)
I had to buy something else with the transaction though as they wouldn't take the coupon because the movie was only $4.99 before the $8 was taken off, so I got a children's 2 cd set for $6.99 - the $8 coupon was split between the two and as a result got the cd set for $3 plus tax!
Opps, I tried to do a link and it got screwed up*sheepish look*
go to http://www.disneyupgrade2blu.com for the $8 off coupons you have to send in the POP tabs, and then they email you the coupons. I've found you can print them up to 3 times before they tell you you've exceeded the number allowed!
Also TRU will probably be having the dvd's at $26.99 as Princess and the Frog was selling for that price.
Nadine,
How did this pre-ordering deal at TRU work? You have to pay full-price up front and then pick them up when they are released and get credited for the $10 (for buying both movies)? Do you have to get the additional movie then too (the one that you get $15 off) at the time you pre-order the others? What price did they charge you for the Toy Story and Toy Story 2? I saw on their website that they are charging $29.99 to pre-order these. Any details would be helpful.
To preorder movies at tru ur only required to leave a $5 deposit fir each, so if u preorder both toy story movies you get $15 off another Disney movie, so for arguments sake let's say u pick up another Disney movie that's priced at $15, which is what I'm planning 2 do it would be $15 for any movie+ $5 deposit for toy story 1+ $5 deposit toy story 2= $25 plus tax-$15 instantly for doing the preorder on both movies total should b$10 plus tax, then when u pick up both the toy story movies u show ur reciept and preorder cards and you get the $10 deposit taken plus use the $10 worth of printable coupons above. Common sense is saying TRU will have them priced at 16.99 each(not sure if days accurate Ive never seen blu rays priced so low, but it could b, let's hope) plus they each come with a movie ticket. So all together u would end up paying 23.98 for 2blu rays 1 DVD and 2 movie tickets
Wow dat was long, lol
Thanks Erika. I have a couple more questions. Is this preording done in store? When you say 23.98 for 2 blu rays 1 DVD and 2 movie tickets, I'm assuming the 2 blu rays are the TS1 and TS2, is the 1 DVD the other Disney movie that you get $15 off of (in other words, does that movie have to be a DVD only and not a combo pack)? Make sense? My store had no idea what I was talking about when I asked about a pre-ordering deal.
Hi all I posted a comment yesterday here and today I see it was taken down ..dont know what i did wrong? anyways just wanted to share my site with all the users looking for online deals..
You welcome, TRU's preordering deals can only be done in store, you can preorder online but wont get whatever deal there offering. They always offer great deals on disney movies when u preorderd, I preorderd Snow White and they gave a $5 gift card, The Little Mermaid they gave a Free Little Mermaid Photo Album, Tinkerbell a free tinkerbell photo album, Up a free Doug plush, Princess and the frog free Tiana jewlery box, i combine these deals with the printable coupons and the free toys r us giftcards ( I have the TRUS credit card which I use for every bill and purchase that i make, they reward with $10 gift cards, every month I get @ least 1, if not 2 or 3 of course this is only smart to do if you gonna pay your balance every month in full, so u dont get charged intrest)& i pay nothing for all my disney movies. So back to ur questions, yes those were the titles i was referring to, to preorder the movie go to the movie section and there should be some cards that Say Preorder TS on them, customer service should know what ur talking, cause they always do preorder deals. And its $15 on the purchase of any disney Movie TODAY, so yes it can be used on another combo pack, but the total you be more than 23.98
Go o Disneymovierewards.com and enter & 786936294507 upc 786936294521 upc for TS2 and you'll be able to print a $10 off blu ray combo pack coupon for each one, yeah!!!!
there are more coupons that can be applied...just found out about them today.
go to disneymovierewards.com, sign up if your not already. Then in the add code box put in you TS1 and/or TS2 UPC code off your dvd or vhs and get a $10 off coupon for each! with the extra $5 each ones on the disney coupon site and the $10 off instore deal at TRU you get them for $3.98 total before tax
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Erika!!!!! I just got both coupons and am headed to TRU right now to pre-order.
Does anyone know if we can use the $10 AND the $5 coupons together or will they give you a hard time at the stores?
Word is Toys r us will be priced at 16.99... What a deal!
Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I entered my my magic code from my original Toy Story DVD and did not get directed to the banner with the $10 coupon. I cannot find it anywhere! Can someone please tell me where this can be found?
Here is the deal I am going for @ Target in PA .
They are selling each at 22.99 = 46.00 + tax
for both.
Target takes off 10 dollars automatically for purchasing both bringing it to 36.00 + tax.
Print out the 10.00 off each coupons from above using the ups codes ( you will need a disney rewards account , very easy and quick to do )
Use these coupons value of $20 combined to bring it to 16.00 for both. This is 16.00 for both ...reoughly 8 dollars each !! also each movie contains a way to get a movie ticket for ts3 a value of 8. 50 ! and a target each movie comes with a dvd rom game included. This sounds like a deal to me :)
Nevermind, I finally got the banners to pop up. Thanks so much Erika for the TS2 code! Headed to Target on Tuesday armed with my 2 coupons!
Thank you so much for the coupon codes :)
You should be able to stack the coupons everyone!
So don't forget to also get the five dollar off ones too at the top of this post!
Thanks to everyone posting this information and this site. I am a huge Toy Story fan and would love to get the movies on Blu-Ray (plus the movie cash for Toy Story 3) but didn't want to spend the money on it.
I currently have the $10 coupons for upgrading and $5 coupons from Disney. I also mailed in to Disney to get the $8 off for upgrading. I'm hoping to get them at Target for the bonus DVD rom game, in which case if I used the two $10 and $8 coupons that would mean the movies are basically free after all the discounts. I don't know if they will allow all these coupons, but it would be great if they did. When the Monsters Inc. Up deal was going on I eventually got them to apply all the coupons (I didn't do a price match) but they weren't going to at first.
I read somewhere that Target limits coupons to one manufacturer coupon and one Target coupon per item, but I'm still hoping they will accept them... If anyone has info on this and could share, I would really appreciate it. There is a Best Buy within walking distance of Target, so if they don't let me do it, I might try at Best Buy, but would prefer Target. I'm hoping to get to Target early on Tuesday, so hopefully I will get lucky. Can't wait to hear how everyone else does.
Thanks again to everyone and this great site!
Can we price match the Toys R Us ad at Target? If so, after all discounts and coupons, we could get both movies for $3.98 (Price Match $16.98 x 2 - $10 Target Discount - (2) mf qs). It sounds too good to be true...anyone asked customer service yet?
Took me a while but I finally figured out how everyone was coming to a total price of $3.98. Sorry folks but that number is totally INCORRECT based on the fine print.
TRU is selling Toy Story 1 &2 for $21.99 each. According to the flyer, when you buy BOTH, you get $10 off and pay $16.99 each. If you use 2 $10 coupons, you will get BOTH movies for $13.98. Still a great deal for BluRay!
Mendy-
I doubt that Target will match your scenerio because they are basically offering the same deal of getting $10 off when you buy both. TRU just advertises the final price with discount.
Hope this helps!
How do you get the upgrade coupons? Is there a general code you can enter to get them? I think I only have one of them on vhs but would love to buy them both on dvd for a good price. Someone tutor me please :)
Mendy,
Target's coupon policy says they will either price match or accept a Target coupon, not do both. So, I think you could price match the ToysRUs but that would be 16.98 each wyb both, at Target without price match it's 17.99 each wyb both.
Mendy,
I was proven wrong. Went to Target and tried the price match with TRU and got both for 16.99 each and still got the additional $10 off and with my 2 $10 off coupons from disneyrewards...I got 2 blurays, 2 free movie tickets and 2 CD Rom Games for $3.98.
Hope everyone lucked out as well!
Has anyone tried entering the codes for the Free Movie Ticket from the new DVDs in their disneymovierewards account yet? I wondered if they are one free ticket per disneymoviereward account or if you bought both dvds, can you get two free tickets?
Martha,
I have a question. I already bought my Blu-Rays this morning, but didn't have a Toy's R Us ad, so I just paid Target's price and used the $10 coupons.
If I go back and try to buy them with the price match, will they adjust the price at the register, or do you have to go to the service desk to do it? I've never price matched at Target, so I don't really know how to do it.
Now, I just have to find a Toy's R Us ad because I don't have the paper and can't get to the store before the week ends.
Thanks!
Does any one know the website where i can get the $10.00 dollar coupons off. I can only find the $5.00 ones online. Thankks
Amanda- go to Disneymovierewards.com sign up for an account if you don't have one. You need both upc codes for TS1 and TS2 either the dvd or vhs. You enter them in where it says redeem code and the coupons should pop up for you to print in your points section. You need to have the coupon printer software to print them, but if you don't have the program it will provide it for you to download. Fire fox doesn't work with the software, but I've heard IE will and I use Safari to print mine.
Hope this helps!
Here's what happened at my TRU in FL. I brought both of each $5, $10, and $8 coupons in just in case, figured if they said no I could at least use the $10 off ones. I pre-ordered both TS's and got Ratatouille as well since I had an $8 off one for that.
The girl looked at my coupons and said "I don't know if these will all ring up, but we'll try and if not just use the $10 off ones okay." She didn't call a manager or anything which surprised the heck outta me, I mean really?!?! When I worked in retail I would have definitely called for one! It's kinda common sense, right?
Then she proceeded to ring up the movies and the coupons. The system took all of them! It didn't even beep to say there might be an issue...I was shocked! So I paid the tax for all three and walked out in a daze that they took them....
Now if you include the deal I got on Cars with the pre-order ( $24.99 -$15, -$5 glitch, -$8 coupon= tax only) and the deal I got at Target for PAFP and Pixar Shorts on bluray ( I got PAFP with the coupons thinking great deal =), but the hubby had ordered it for my birthday from Disney Movie Club for $13.95, so I returned it and got the entire price payment back-- they basically paid for my other copy. Why does Target do that!?! Anyone know why?).
So we paid $1.50 each for a total of $10 for 6 blurays. I'm doing the Bandaid rebate on PAFP ($5) and I get two tickets to see Toy Story 3 with the hubby (which will be nice as we just had a baby 2 months ago and need a "date" night out). I'm kinda giddy that it all worked out cause we really don't have a lot of money right now with the new baby. I'm staying at home because child care in FL is flippin expensive as all heck and now I have some entertainment for when she's napping and I'm doing house cleaning or the dishes and whatnot.
I'm still in shock that they took them all and quite honestly can't believe that TRU dosen't have something in place for this type of thing.
Amanda, You'll find the codes for the dvd's further up in the comments. Hope this all helps..
Thanks for all the posts here everyone! I am sooooo excited to report that I just went to Target tonight to buy both Toy Story Blu Rays, and paid $5.98 total for both!!! They let me use the $5 and the $10 off coupons, there was in the instant $10 off, and they were on sale through today. Tomorrow, at regular price, it would have been $60 to buy both! I'm kind of in shock about how much I just saved. :)
I also bought mine @ Target. Paid about $16 for the both (using the $10 coupon on each and the instant $10 off) and am very pleased with that! my reciept said I saved $44 :) I like that it has the bonus game disc. Now to decide which baskets they will go into...
