I thought this deal looked suspicious, too. Why would Kraft go through the hassle of collecting all the info when they can just send a check instead? I called Kraft. This is for real. I commented on it seeming silly to collect account info for a utility. For them, I think this is about a promotion- them "helping you pay the bills" rather than about keeping it simple.

Thank you for the tip that it is a pdf file - for some reason regular left clicking wouldn't open it for me, but I right clicked and saved it to my desktop, and that worked! Emily´s last blog post..Grumpy

I have seen this elsewhere on the web and, frankly, thought it looked suspicious. I could not find the deal independently through the Kraft Foods website nor the Tombstone website.

After all, wouldn't it be easier to just send us a check, rather than do the data entry for all of our individual utility providers???

It seemed like some kind of scam to collect data. Call me skeptical.

I just called Kraft Foods toll free #. This deal is legit. They have a list of utility companies that they have links to.....if yours is not on the list and they would be unable to credit your account, they will send a check to you directly.

Amazingly, my utility companies are on their list.

Start saving those UPC labels :)
