Do the MFR toy IPs have a rolling expiration date or a fixed one?

Can you use the Tag Reading System coupons on the Tag Junior system? I know on the LeapFrog printable they have a separate coupon for the Tag Jr. system of only $5 off so I was wondering if you can use the coupons if they don't specify tag junior? Has anyone tried using them yet???

I was wondering the same thing about using the Target LeapFrog Tag Reading System coupon on the Tag Junior Book Pal... Has anyone tried it? Or is there a Target coupon specifically for the Tag Junior??

Definitely want to know about the possibility of using the Tag coupons on the TagJr system. I'd really love to get one for my son for Christmas, and those coupons would be GREAT! If anyone tries, please post!

I'm curious too about the tag coupons. They would really make great gifts. I am going to try it tomorrow but I would like to know ahead of time if anyone else has tried it! Thanks!

What I want to know is Walmart has the Picturika Flipper for $14.99, which is exactly what it will cost at Target if I use the target and mfg coupons on it(target it is $24.99). Will target lower the price to $14.99 to price match then allow me to use the target coupon and mfg coupon to buy it?

Is it in the Walmart ad, Hilary? You have to show proof of the price when price matching. If it is, you should be able to price match and use the coupons.

I'm really not sure on the Tag Jr. since I was just reporting the deal from another site. If someone tries it, please post if it works successfully. I know a lot of people missed out on the clearanced Tags last month, so this would be great.

Walmart has an advertised deal on Baby Alive for $16. Pair with the $8 coupon makes it $8!

Also, the FurReal Kitty is advertised at $38 from Walmart.

I tried to use the Tag coupon on a tag jr. a while back at TRU and they didn't take it. I had to use the Tag Jr ($5 off) coupon. But, a friend of mine did get to use them in the same store! It's worth a shot, but I'd be prepared for them not to take it. It all depends on the store and cashier.

Fisher-Price Trio King’s Castle, this is also on sale at toys r' us for 59.99 so with the coupons it would be 44.99. Think I might go get one this week. Thanks

Is it possible to take a printout from Amazon for price matching at Target? The Trio King's Castle is $49.85 at Amazon. Thank you.

14 Tara Kuczykowski November 3, 2009 at 2:20 pm

I'm fairly sure the price match offer is only on printed store ads. Online pricing will not work.

Reply

15 Christy November 3, 2009 at 2:22 pm

Toys R Us has the trio Kings castle on sale for $59.99, so you can have it priced matched at Target and you use their coupon and the trio coupon, so the final cost would be $45.00.

Can you use target store coupons at Toys R us?

Reply

17 Heather November 3, 2009 at 2:54 pm

Ummm, Target store coupons can only be used at Target, that is why they are store specific coupons.

At Walmart today, I saw Leap Frog Tag books, I Spy and Kung Fu Panda for $3.00. I bought these when they were on clearance for $5.00 and used the printed coupon, then they went back up to
$13. 97!!! they are back down for now, and they will prob go fast

I found this deal yesterday. I got the tag system for $20. I took the Toys r us ad with me and they price matched the books. I found a $3 off coupon and got the books for $7 each!!

The link to the Target coupons brings up a whole list of toy coupons - do we have to print them all if we really only want one or two? Is there a link to a coupon selector?

I can't find the coupons on Target's site or Leap Frogs....what am I doing wrong? Thanks

Stephanie....how did you find the baby alive ad for walmart for $16 to take to target to price match?? I have been looking every where and I cant find it. Can you help me out? That is an awesome deal!!

I tried the Tag Jr. deal with the $5 off manufacturer coupon and $10 Target coupon, but they would not accept the $10 off coupon. Someone on another site posted that they used both coupons with no problem, so it probably depends on the store. The $10 off coupon did beep at the register, though.

OHHHH....and Connect 4 is 10.00 at Target...matched with the Target $5 off and the $5 off printable from Hasbro it makes it free!

"Ummm, Target store coupons can only be used at Target, that is why they are store specific coupons." She was probably asking because some stores take competitor coupons. For instance, Lowes will take Home Depot coupons. Michael's accepts Hobby Lobby coupons, etc.

26 Jenifer November 3, 2009 at 4:43 pm

That is exactly why I was asking :) Thanks Angie! You just never know...might as well ask right? Hey did you guys know that the regular Leapfrog Tag pen works on the tag jr. books? I'm going tonight to guy the pen for my little girl and just get her the tag jr. books, that way she can have it for a long time! That makes the deal even better!

Sarah - is it the "4x4" game that is $10? The Hasbro coupon specifies that game and I'm not sure how different they are. Maybe the coupon will work anyway - it might be worth a try!

BTW, if anyone doesn't want to print all of the coupons (I still can't find a generator for these) you can just count the coupon and print the specific pages that you want. They printed 4 to a page for me. It seemed silly to print 15 pages worth when I really only wanted 3 or 5 of the coupons. HTH! :)

Does anyone have the Wal Mart circular? We don't have them in the paper here. Do I need one from the store?

Sarah, I live in South Carolina and it was advertised in our local walmart ad.

Just got back from Target and they let me use the Tag coupons for the Tag Jr. I got it for $8.99! I was prepared for it not to work but the cashier pushed it through! I aso got connect 4 and used both coupons. All 4 of my coupons beeped.

We love the Tag Reading System. We have so many books that we cannot load them all to the pen. Hopefully, the newer pens hold more memory than the one we have. I was actually thinking about purchasing a new pen just so that we don't have to keep switching out the books. Does anyone else have this issue?
I can't wait to buy the Tag Junior for my 16 month old. She'll love it!

Maybe its me but I was able to print the Target Tag Jr. coupon but not the other one you have posted - $10/1 Leapfrog Tag printable - can you check it for me?

There IS a coupon for the Tag Jr too!!! :-D

How do you do the price match?? I am confused.

Reply

34 hallie November 3, 2009 at 5:33 pm

Looked at ad online and see that the Baby Alive at WalMart is for a different model. Don't think that'll work.

I have a question on the price match at Target. Since I've never done it before, do you just show the ad at the normal register? Also, the ToysRUs catalog I have shows the FurReal Lulu My Cuddlin’ Kitty on sale through 11/26. Does Target only price match for one week? Is that why you said only through the 7th? And I'm assuming they have to have it in stock...no rain checks on price match items? Sorry I have so many questions, I just didn't know they price matched!

I was able to use both $10 coupons for the Tag Junior. She did have to get a manager because the Target coupons (I also got the Discovery Airport) wouldn't scan so they have to get a manager override to enter a price as high as $10. I was worried the manager would mess everything up, but she didn't even look at the coupons. I think a lot has to do with your store.

GOOD DEAL! I was waiting for something like this to come along. I got a total of 6 books for $28 at Toys R Us a while back, and now this for $8.99, so that's $100 worth of Tag stuff for $37! I'll take it!

37 Tara Kuczykowski November 3, 2009 at 6:02 pm

Price matching has to be done at the customer service desk.

Alright the Pictureka Flipper is advertised at my Toys R Us for much cheaper then the Target so I'm going in tomorrow to price match and use my 2 coupons I got. Listen all you that are buying the Tag make sure you get the Tag that holds 10 books. You have to look on the box because I have the original that only holds like 4 books and it's very frustrating to try to load and reload books all the time. They try to get rid of the lower capacity Tags by pricing them really cheap to make room for the better ones. Maybe you won't mind byet after a few times of having to switch the books on your tag you'll know why they made a bigger one.

Okay, so I went to Target tonight and purchased the Tag Jr. system and both coupons ($10 ones) worked no problem on it. So I got it for $8.99!! YEAH! The Target coupon did "beep" but the cashier just put it through. I live in Elgin, IL (Chicago suburb). I hope everyone else is able to try it and get the deal.

Does anyone know if the Tag Book coupons work on the Tag Jr. books as well? I would assume so. I need to start buying the books now. Thanks!! :)

Don't forget you can price match the Barbie Three Musketeers Movie at Target. TRU has it listed in the Big book for $9.99, Thus making it $4.99 at Target. This is on my DD xmas list.

Hi, everyone! A couple of weeks ago The Freebie Blogger had a post about how to get a book for free that goes with the Leapfrog Tag Jr. I got the ABC Animal Orchestra one completely free. Couldn't hurt to search October's archives. These books can be up to ten dollars!

I will be going tomorrow to get the Tag book. We don;t have any and will be a great gift for Christmas for my son. Great to know Heather, I live in IL too and will be going to the Yorkville one.

Quick FYI: Amazon has the Pictureka Flipper game for $14.99 right now. It qualifies for the free shipping on orders of $25 or more so you won't have to print coupons and you won't pay sales tax.

Walmart's $38.00 Fur-Real Kitten had a baby Fur-Real kitten with it which Target and Toys R us do not. These are usually $10 each. Just letting everyone know in case your little one wants a baby kitten to go with the mommy. The baby also moves and wiggles like the mom.

ok, so there's a connect 4x4 $5 off manuf. coupon, and then there is a target hasbro coupon that says $5 off connect 4 spongebob (not connect 4x4 spongebob, because i don't think that exists), am I missing something? Is there a different target coupon out there I can stack with my connect 4x4 manuf. coupon?

47 norma November 4, 2009 at 11:34 am

BTW - connect 4x4 is advertised at walmart for $15

I went last night and used the two $10 coupons on the Tag Jr. Like the PP said...it didn't beep on it but the cashier used it anyway. Then I had hubby print two more and he went and bought the regular Tag for our oldest! YAY!

Also, Target had 3 books marked down for the Jr. to $8.99. Minus the $5 coupon, I bought two for $8! SWEET DEAL!!

50 norma November 4, 2009 at 2:23 pm

where are the coupons for the books?
