Wow, you should call Walmart customer service, Donna. That's incorrect. The one per purchase terminology is meant to inform that only one coupon can be used per item purchased, and definitely does not mean that you can only use one coupon per day.

One per transaction means you can only use one per order. It would have to actually say one per customer per day to be limited in the manner that they are doing.

Our Walmart in Lancaster, OH changes their policy on a daily basis has to who, what, when, where & how manay internet coupons they will take. They have even gotten to the point that the Store Manager does not come to the registers; it appears to be a head clerk or someone of that nature. The biggest thing the staff here say is the "Internet Coupons" say 1 per purchase; SO ALL THEY WILL LET YOU PURCHASE IS ONE ITEM PER DAY PER FAMILY, regardless of how many coupons, but yet they fail to watch the coupon that are cut out of the magazines & newspapers. We have a real mess here. Good Luck to all Shoppers/Savers

I blogged about this issue as well. I work for a company that manages and tracks gift cards, and I've been following the target coupon fraud on savvywallet.com. My concern is the cards being stolen out of mailboxes around the phoenix area. Now that people know that target recalled the 85,000 coupons, it's a red flag. Just be careful. Hopefully target came up with a way that is secure.
