Target: FREE Kraft String Cheese + Mott’s $0.67

by Tara Kuczykowski on October 5, 2010 · 12 comments

If you're already planning to head to Target this week (to take advantage of the Mott's deal perhaps?), you may want to add this deal to your list. Target carries the individual Kraft String Cheese packages for $0.50, making two FREE after Target store coupon!

2 FREE after coupon!
(Thanks, Passion For Savings!)

And speaking of the Mott's deal...

I was excited to find that the Mott's Applesauce 6-Packs are actually priced at $1.67, making them just $0.67 each after the Target gift card promotion! I picked up 15 packages last night for just a touch over $10, and I'm hoping to go back to pick up some more later in the week. My store had original, natural, strawberry, and cinnamon all included in the deal.

I am excited about this one! I am going back to work and starting to pack my lunch so these are great deals!!!! One question though, what does TPC stand for? Thanks!!

TPC means temporary price cut -- these are kind of like unadvertised sales at Target. I believe this one should last through Saturday at least.

The target coupon actually states for shredded or block cheese. Not sure if string cheese actually falls into those categories.

I think you're referring to a different coupon, Maureen. There's also a Target brand cheese coupon that's good for $1/2 shredded or block cheese, but this particular coupon is specifically for Kraft String Cheese.

Yay! Got this today no problem, but only got to print the coupon once.

About the Motts deal, do you have to ask for the gift card at checkout or is it issued automatically when you buy 5? Thank you so much for all the great information!

The register will automatically prompt the cashier about the gift card when the 5th item is scanned, so it's really very easy. I did multiple transactions, using the gift card earned from the first 5 to purchase the next 5 last night, and it worked perfectly.

I got the applesauce deal today! The cashier said "Whoa! That's a great deal! I need to get some of these!" :)

I bought two packages of Q-tips and dental floss and only paid tax. The young cashier said, "Show me your ways!"

Refering to the string cheese deal I was not able to do it. The cashier said the Target coupon is for packages of string cheese, not individual servings. ):

Let me guess Cheryl? The cashier looked at the picture and got an attitude to boot?

Yea, remember the pictures don't mean squat. Stand your ground and don't be afraid to have a manager to come over cause you are using coupons or "holdin' up my line."

Target has been really disappointing lately. Had a BOGO on a toothbrush that they wouldnt take because the register beeped at them. They verified I had the correct product for the coupon but still refused to take it. supervisor refused it as well.
