I'm so glad to hear that! It's really nice to hear the positive experiences too because so often they get lost in the negative.

Thank you so much for the sweet compliments and for sharing my site with others. You're providing a wonderful service for others by teaching them how to save money with coupons!

Tara & CP,

I happened to go Target yesterday evening and funny enough I got a totally different reaction. I had a transferred prescription and the pharmacy cashier had me autograph a news article my sis-in-law and I did a few weeks ago in our local paper. We started up a coupon ministry to help other moms...much like this website (and BTW we promote the heck out of this website during our meetings). But I was blown away when she asked me to sign her newspaper. Then when checking out after shopping I went to a cashier that I went to a few nights before...she was cracking jokes with me and didn't have a problem what so ever on the coupons. I went about 5 hours after my sis-in-laws bad experience. So, Im hoping they will start treating us different because we are from a fairly small town with only 1 Target and 1 Walmart so our choices are limited. My local Publix (which was my first job) has no problems AT ALL with taking ANY coupons so that is where we do most our shopping. Thank you for your replies...I just wanted to make sure it wasn't just her.

Tara - I just want to say how MUCH I love your website!!! You are a saint in my eyes....5 kids and a husband is enough to handle already and on top of that you run the most information couponing website on the web. YOU GO GIRL!!! And not to mention you went to a NKOTB concert recently....now that I was jealous of...I was totally in love with them growing up!!! LOL

Happy Couponing!!! ;P

I did have a very bad experience at one of the local Targets last spring. I called the store and complained and emailed corporate, and no one ever replied. I was really upset about that, but I just don't shop at that store anymore. I'm sorry your sister-in-law had a bad experience, Tuesdae.

That's really frustrating, CP. It's sad when the customer knows more about coupons and the store coupon policies than the cashiers.

My Target in CA doesn't like coupons either! Everytime I use an internet printed coupon the checkers take each coupon and start reading the fine print. I've even been told that I can't use two coupons to purchase two of the same item. I even point out how the IP coupons have unique numbers on them. I've never ever been able to use a coupon that has a higher value than the cost of the item...so never able to score on the Johnson's Buddies deal since the retail is $0.97 on them. My Target will not manually adjust the coupon down...they suck!

I was just curious if anyone is having problems using coupons at Target. My sis-in-law had a HUGE problem yesterday at our local Target...to the point where she had them VOID her order and give her back her coupons. When her husband got home he was on the phone with their Corporate office...she also spoke with the store manager on her way out. They made her feel like she was a criminal for using coupons, searched through her bags to match up all the coupons to the products and when everything checked out the manager let out a big 'sigh'....but not one of a relieve...one like "who do you think you are coming into our store with all these coupons"...along with an eye roll. It pains me that they treated her like that...all we are trying to do is use what is available to us to help save money for our families.

Laurie, it really depends on the store you shop at. Some stores enforce it and others don't. I'd just ask them to ring it separately if they give me a hard time, but I haven't had an issue yet. The only time it really affects a deal is if you need to use more than one Target coupon to make the deal work.

So, in all these examples, do they make you go through multiple transactions in order to use the same Target printable? Cause on the bottom of the coupons it says "limit one offer per transaction"... so I've always divided it up into several trips to the register. But if they don't enforce that, I won't waste my time. But, otherwise, like on the free stuff, what keeps you from clearing off their shelves?!?

I tried to get two fruitsnacks at my local Target, but the computer rejected the coupon saying it was over the purchase price, so no-go!

I got three Johnson’s baby cotton swabs (normally $1.29) for FREE!
They also had a big section of clearance baby toiletries. I got a HUGE bottle of Johnson’s baby shampoo for $1.50 (used internet $1 off Johnson’s coupon). They also had a big selection of Aveeno baby wash and lotion on sale. The wash was on sale for $2.54 and the lotion for $4.54 (I believe). I had 2 Aveeno internet coupons for $2 off any aveeno product so I used those (from the aveeno website). I also picked up some more free buddies bars.

I didn't have any trouble getting 4 FREE fruit snacks! The gal did go through and manually adjust each coupon down to the $.89 price for each snack, so no overage, but totally free so I can't complain! :)
