Target: 6 Wii Games As Low As $30

by Tara Kuczykowski on November 3, 2009 · 87 comments

Target Wii Games Deal
There is one smokin' hot deal on Nintendo Wii Games running at Target through this Saturday. You can score six games for as low as $30 making them just $5 each!

Nintendo Wii Games, psa $14.99 (B2G1 FREE)
Buy 6 games at $14.99 ea.

Use (3) $10/2 Nintendo Wii Games Target printable (Page 5)
As low as $5 ea. after sale and coupons!

I haven't tried this deal personally, and I'm uncertain how the registers are allowing the third Target coupon when they wouldn't accept the fourth in the Kellogg's Cereal deal that's currently running. However, I've seen it posted on several sites that it's working successfully, so it's worth a try. I'm hoping to give it a try tomorrow morning to confirm it myself.

Update: My husband tried this last night, and it did work. The cashier was uncertain about taking all 3 coupons, but he said he'd tried it, and they rang up just fine.

Thanks, The Frugal Find!

We did it tonight with 6 games (ours were 19.99) and the B2G1 came off just fine, as well at 3 of the $10/2 Q's.

Our add here in Nevada says that the B2G1 is only applicable to games priced $49.99 or more. Is that what everyone elses says and if so I'd love to hear if it really is working on the cheaper games. It Would be AWESOME if it really is working.

Heard that you can print these off at Target at the Kiosk for anyone who can't get theirs to print @ home.

Thanks for the link! All the games pictured below are $14.99 except the Lego Batman and the Fit Plus, those were $19.99. There were several other $14.99 games too, a few that come to mind are:

DH and I took a trip to Target yesterday! We bought 2 @ 19.99 and 4 @ 14.99, used 3 of the coupons with no problem and our total with tax was $42.36. Awesome deal! Especially right before Christmas. The cashier was utterly amazed, he wanted to know all the details. He sid this was the best deal he has seen since he has worked there.

My husband was excited about this and he went to three Targets yesterday, but he says the selection *stinks.* Most of the titles are older and not terribly highly rated. Because of this and the fact that a couple highly anticipated games are coming out in the next week or so, he gets the feeling that these great deals on Wii games are just an effort to clear out old stock. Might be okay if you have children old enough to play the gimmicky TV/movie themed games or who don't really care what they play, but if you're pretty selective in what games you purchase or are looking for classic games (Mario games or Legend of Zelda and such), you might be out of luck.

Is this deal good for games of any price? The ad stated $49.99 so I thought that meant games of that price of higher. But does it work for games of anyprice as you are saying? If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks for all the sweet deals. I used these coupons and the leap frog coupon for the Tag reading system last night. Great price. Thanks deal seeking mom and all other deal finders. I love you guys.

I wonder if my Target will allow the use of more than 1 coupon. It doesn't say you can't. Well worth the try. Gonna head there today after work.

My Target didn't have any lower than $19.99 but it was still a great deal!

This may be asking too much of Target but do you think they would also price match a toys r us ad?

I did this deal last night. I don’t have children, but my husband was thrilled when I came in the door last night 6 Wii games. I bought (3) $14.99 games and (3) $19.99 games for about $45.00. My husband was particularly happy that I’d finally “stocked up” on Wii games rather than cereal and canned goods!

Hollynn-it's all games priced 49.99 or LESS...so yes, it will work on lower priced games. It just so happens that all of the ones pictured on the ad are priced at $49.99...but if you read the small print under the price, it says all games up to 49.99 are included. HTH!

Yes, I had to print out ALL 15 pages just to get the 1 Wii coupon. Was just at the Target store and these toy/Wii coupons are not in the kiosks at the stores, only the grocery coupons are available. Anyone know a way to just print out the web coupons that you want or need??? Thanks!

Angela, they will price match Toy's R' Us ads! Even after the fact! Are they advertising cheaper Wii games?

We just price matched with thier ad yesterday!

Just got back and was able to get 9 games! Thanks so much! I've been saving up for the wii for the kid's christmas gift but the games are so expensive! This made it worth it!

You don't need to print out all 15 pages. You can scroll to the page you want, then click "Print." There is an option to print current page. You can then say that you want 3 copies.

When you look through the game on Target's site, it doesn't show the cheaper games as part of the buy 2 get 1 free deal. Maybe it's only at select stores?

I just got back from Target and was only able to use 2 coupons for 6 games. The would not let me "stack" the third coupon as their excuse was "you can't save $10 on 2 games you aren't paying anything for." I bought 5 games priced $19.99 and 1 at $29.99 and still only paid $74. I had to argue with them about the wording at the bottom of the coupon too. It took an extra 20 minutes to get a manager there to override the coupons - I still save $70 on all 6 games!

just got back from target, I was able to purchase
(2) Chicken Shoot
(2) M&M Racing
(1) Margot's Word Brain
(1) Boom Blox

For a total of $31.76 after taxes!!! WooHoo!!

Great deal...hope it works for me! My printer doesn't have a "current page" setting, but if you select to print page 11 it will only print the page with the wii coupon. HTH!!

It worked here too! We got 3 of the $19.99 and 3 of the $14.99 and paid $43.26 after taxes! I was suprised to see that one of each price set rang up as the "free one"! That's $7.21 a game! Awesome deal!

This worked fine for me. Got 6 $19.99 for $53.00 (taxachussetts!!), used the 3 target printables with no questions asked.
Anyhow, got Disney Princesses, Motocross Dirtbike Racing, Acme something or other (buggs bunny), Monster Truck Racing, Monkeyball, and Speedracer. These were all rated "E" for everyone. The selection is "limited" to certain titles on this deal. My teenage guy cashier was pumped at this deal! :)

I work at Target and I love when Ican get great deals like this. It makes me laugh how many people do not take advatage of the deals we have out there on our site. The person who rung me up is always impressed at what I save with coupons.

Worked for me today. The $14.99 games were on the end cap by the registers, not in the games/electronics dept. Thx!

It looks like they changed the coupon page to a fancier version at some point today. The Wii game coupons are now on Page 5.

Okay, I went to your previous Target toy post, but there it only allowed me to print 2 copies of the coupon. It did not allow me to use the back button & the Wii coupon disappeared after the 2nd print.

Did everyone else print 3 with no problems?

Reply

49 junesummer21 November 4, 2009 at 8:25 pm

Well this didn't work as well for me. The cashier wouldn't let my daughter ring up all 6 at one time, had to do 2 seperate trans, and then to make matters worse, on the 2nd transaction they charged her for 4 games instead of 3 ( which of course we didn't catch until she got home.) So it is another trip to a Target store some 45 minutes away to "try" and get my money back. I really wish these stores could all learn to do things the same way, it is SOOOOOOOO frustrating to go out of your way to try and save money, just to continually get burned. Makes me mad!!!!

One of our local Target stores had toy coupon booklets hanging on an end cap with most of these same coupons that were listed. Check it out to save on printing if you need to. You could always call the store to see if they have them. Unfortunately, they wouldn't let me use more than one coupon to buy wii games. I think I'll try another Target store. It seems so hit or miss.
