Just a reminder for everyone that tomorrow is the last day to join
Swag Bucks and earn an additional 2 points for entering the following code in the Swag Code box: DEALSEEKER (case sensitive)!
The code expires at midnight PST, 9/9/09.
If you missed my post sharing what Swagbucks is, be sure to read it.
Now go search and earn! I’ve already won several Swagbucks just doing the same daily searches I normally do.

This code is coming up as not valid. I even tried copy and pasting. Any suggestions?

This is only for users registering for the first time. It won’t work if you have an existing account.

Be careful with swagbucks though. I had to unistall their toolbar b/c my computer started having serious problems with spyware and misc stuff. It is used for research so they trace everything you do. Watch the toolbar and random words you’ve searched will show up. I just have it as one of my home pages to search on when I think of it…

I haven’t used the toolbar personally, but you can set them to be your default search provider in Firefox or Internet Explorer without using it. I usually search directly from the box in the browser, and this has worked well for me.

Tara, I am curious to know your opinion on if it is better to cash out points as you go, or to let them build up? I have started cashing out in $5 Amazon Gift Cards (they only let you do 2 a day) … but is this smart? I was going to let it build up really high (I already have over 1400….) but have recently started cashing out a couple everyday to build an Amazon gift card storage for the holidays….
what is your opinion on the smartest thing to do? (when I did the math…it seemed like the Amazon GCs were the best bang for your buck)
thanks!!

Good question, KeriLyn! My preferred cashout is for the Amazon GCs because they’re so flexible and you seem to get the most from your bucks with them.
However, I have cashed out for some of the larger prizes on occasion when my Swag Bucks accumulate more quickly than I can cash them out. Since you can only redeem for two prizes a day, that means you’re only spending 90 points each day if you’re only buying the Amazon GCs.
For those of you wondering the fastest and easiest way to accumulate Swag Bucks, the answer is simply sharing the site with others. Encourage family and friends to sign up so they can earn, and you’ll earn a small percentage of what they earn as well.
